All of us woke up early the next morning and went working. Each family began working on their own homes. We approved where they were building their homes prior to breaking ground.
Before I started work on my own home, I knew I needed to secure our island. I called for King Serei. Our island was within his realm of the ocean. His response was prompt. We will meet in just a few minutes.
I stood pacing the shoreline as I waited for him to arrive. I wasn’t nervous, I was just ready to get things going for my people. I was going to have to build a larger home like Vatra, Dante, and I agreed we would all live together. Living alone in an empty home just saddened my heart. For now, I had a few warriors that would be staying with me until their own homes were built.
