Horny friend.

~Thelma POV~ The memory of all that discussion in the kitchen comes back to me. I wondered how long this was going to last. It felt like forever. It was like it was not going to end. “Come on, Thelma. We have to go,” my mother called. I am trying to get something simple to put on for the birthday. “I’m coming, Mom,” I inform her. We all get into the car to head for shopping. Since it is urgent, we don’t take a lot of time at the store. In fact, we spend only about two hours before getting back and starting the party preparations. LATER THAT EVENING I stare at myself in the mirror, second thoughts flashing into my mind. Maybe I should change my dress. This is not my style at all. But would my best friend even think about sparing me if I got rid of it? I have been looking at myself in the mirror for about thirty minutes. Everyone else is getting ready for the birthday, which is hardly two hours away. The three of them chose this dress for me, of course claiming that I can’t pick a decent dress for a birthday myself. I won’t blame them; that is me. This is simply not the kind of life for me. I am the type of person who likes staying home the moment I get back from college. I don’t need these parties at all. They seem not to be part of my life. The dress is shiny blue. It is skinny and goes up to the legs. It portrays my figure perfectly. My rare hips, which I hardly show off, are equally on display this time. There is a slit that comes up to my left hip, heading for the waist. Damn it, this is surely going to be a long night for me. My hair has been styled into curls that fall perfectly behind me. I use a little makeup from the kit Recho offered. The three of them concluded that if I keep myself shining, then I would easily get a boyfriend, how I wish they knew everything. “Darling, please come, and we’ll get going,” my mom calls from downstairs. With her calling, I grab my new wallet and head out of my bedroom. When I get down to the living room, Mom is standing there, looking stunning as usual. However, her eyes are fixed on me. Her small smile suddenly grows even wider. “Wow! You are so smart, my baby,” she compliments, looking me over more keenly. “I’m sure almost every guy’s eyes will be on you,” she adds. “But you look extremely good yourself,” I say, hoping she will soon change the topic since I don’t want this conversation to go where it’s heading. “Okay, but my daughter won’t forget what we just talked about. You have to get used to all these parties so that you’ll be able to get a boyfriend—” “Enough, Mom. We are really late for the party. Everyone must be waiting for us eagerly,” I say hurriedly, heading for the door. I’m sure Mom gets it that I don’t want this conversation to go any further. By now, Mom already knows that I am too shy to talk about relationships with her, but she will always bring it up anyway. We get out of the house, lock it, and head to the opposite street where Recho's house is. I think you are already familiar with that; their house is just about one minute away. The nearer we get, my heart thunders even more at the anticipation of seeing Rich again. I don’t know how to look him in the eyes after that erotic moment from last night. As I told you, I tried to see if I could get away from him, but basically, I had no chance at all. We soon arrive at the door. There are only a few guests. Recharah decided that it would be just a little private celebration for her ‘dear son.’ “Oh, ladies, you are here,” this time it is Richard who welcomes us. Richard is actually the father of Recho and Richmond. He was busy but chose to take some time for his son's birthday. For sure, I love the strong bond that exists within this family. Sometimes I really envy them and wish I had a father. Anyway, that story is for another day. I want to try and enjoy this birthday no matter what. “Of course,” Mom says excitedly. After meeting Richard at the door, I look everywhere for my best friend, but she is nowhere to be seen. There is no way I am remaining at this party all by myself. I have only one thing to do, and that is to find her. I head toward the stairs since we are on the rooftop. As I move, I feel like somebody is watching me, but I ignore it and move toward Recho's bedroom. There is no one in the hallway. The moment I reach her bedroom, I don’t even know what happens next, but I just get in. “Damn it!” I curse at the sight before me. This can’t be. As the rest are at the party, my friend has a guy pleasuring her. Both of them pull away quickly, surprised to see me there. I have seen that guy before. He is from our college, though I have never talked to him. For sure, I don’t even know how the two came to know each other. The guy, out of shame, storms out of the bedroom without saying a single word. His gesture makes me chuckle. “I can’t believe you are here having someone while the rest are at your brother's wedding.” “What do you think? It is just part of the celebration,” Recho says sarcastically. How ridiculous she is! “But get it done so that we can head upstairs,” I say to her. “As you wish, Ma’am,” she says sarcastically, moving from the bed and disappearing into the bathroom. About five minutes later, she comes out, ready so that we can head for the party. I sometimes wonder why I do not have the personality of my best friend. I mean, she can get a random man any time she wishes. Thanks for reading. More chapters are on the way. Just get ready for the long ride, we’re only getting started.
