Spirit Princess and her cursed Prince

The Country of Demora was a great land that Isabella had always wanted to visit and now that she was getting the chance she couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. Sitting at the port waiting to leave her Kingdom her older brother came up to her and put a hand on her shoulder. She turned to look at him, Alex her brother stood at a height of 6'1 and had a build body but not overbearing. His face was shaped in a well made oval. the detailed point of his nose to the wideness his green eyes showed fit him perfectly. His Chocolate colored skinned went well with the golden three piece suit he had to wear to show he was the Prince of the kingdom.     "You know...you don't have to go, You can stay here and never leave" He says softly.  Laughing Isabella shook her head. Her features almost matched her brothers with her brown skin tone and oval face, her eyes were brown like their mother's but her hair was a sapphire blue unlike Alex silver hair. "I can't do that, as much as i want to cause i love our kingdom. you will be king and you will be married soon so eventually i will need to find my own happiness."   "Fine. But you know you are always welcomed back. you're my little sister, I want you to be happy but safe too. okay?"    "Promise" Isabella grinned.  Alex sighed and looked down to her side where her two familiars sat. One was a blue fiery wolf named End  and a small golden dragon called Crystal  "I'm entrusting her to you two. Please protect her"   End and Crystal bowed their heads "As you wish your highness" they said in unison.  Isabella giggled and the captain of the ship informed them that it was time to leave. Looking back to her brother she gave a small smile before hugging him. He instantly returned it not wanting to let go but did. End and Crystal disappeared into the symbols on her arms "Next you see me i'll probably be engaged" Isabella winked walking onto the ship.  Alex blinked "Don't even joke about that, Not funny Bella" He called out to her. Laughing she stood at the back of the ship waving to him as she began to sail away. "I'll be sure to bring you something cool back!" She yelled to him. Turning away she walked up to the front of the boat and looked at the big ocean ahead of her "How exciting, I can't wait" she says to herself.    {Where are you going first Princess?} End asked her. They had a telepathic connection so they could always speak directly into her head. "Well, I hear the Prince of the  Melidona Kingdom is having a royal party to celebrate turning 19 and to pick a Princess"    {You really plan on trying to get engaged??} Crystal gasped.    "What? No! i mean i know I am old enough to be thinking about that but i just know all the royal and noble families will be there. it's a great chance to meet new people and make friends it will be a lot easier for me to move around the land if i had people i knew here." She explained.    {But I don't think you can randomly show up princess} End informed her.  Isabella smirked and pulled out an invitation from her dress pocket. "Asteria is always invited to this like this, but because of our customs of course we never really do any of them"    "This is a once and a lifetime chance for our kingdom plus it's the easiest route to get the country. their port is the biggest" She added. {You're so smart princess!} Crystal tells her. Giggling Isabella kept looking out at the waves of water hitting the ship and the dolphins playing around in the water, Isabella couldn't help but think how much adventure she will experience in this new country.  Trip across the sea lasted for a week. Spotting the port they would be in she smiled to herself "We're finally here! you can even see the castle from here. it looks very big"    {You should get ready princess, by the time we arrive it will be the evening} End mentioned.    "You are right." Isabella went into the room she was staying in and got herself ready. She put on a blue dress with golden trim around the chest and puffed short-sleeves. the bottom was covered with glitter, her hair was did up in a bun with her tiara sticking out in front of it. Her shoes were small heels that came  with a strap. she was a bit clumsy so her family didn't force to wear big heels or complicated shoes.  she wasn't big on makeup so only put on lip stick and left it at that. looking at herself in the mirror she was satisfied with her look. She heard the captain yell about them making it to port. she squealed from excitement and ran back up on the deck seeing the townspeople and other ships around the port. "I am burning with nerves and excitement...like i wanna vomit and scream"    {Try not to do any of the above please} Crystal tells her awkwardly.    {Agreed. that would be bad} End added.  Rolling her eyes Isabella stepped off the ship looking around "I wonder why there are barely any spirits here...I knew it wouldn't be a lot but this is a lot less energy than i expected."    {Times change it's not that surprising} End says. Her carriage arrives and she climbed inside was taking to the castle grounds. The ride wasn't long at all and the closer she got she could better see the castle. It was tall and pure white. from where she was she could see bars cover some windows and at the tallest part of the castle waved their kingdom flag of a Lion with a snake in its mouth.    "Wow, It's such a pretty place but...It feels off like its bad to go inside." Isabella stated.  As her carriage was pulled up to the front and a butler of the castle helped her out End spoke up. {Don't worry, We'll protect you if something happens} End says.  Walking inside she followed other guest to the ballroom where the party was being held. It was amazing to her. The gold and red interior surprisingly complimented each other. there was balcony that showed the garden. The tables were covered in a red cloth with white roses in a vase on each table. "Woah he did not hold back on the style, very impressive"    {Our place is way better} Crystal huffed unimpressed.  Isabella chuckled and walked around just to check the place out. She spoke to a few people as she walked around. Her nerves disappeared the more she got to meet people. making her way to the snack table to get a drink not focusing she ran into someone. Looking up her eyes met a tall white haired male. His eyes were silver but was dull and he wore a stoic expression on his face. Stepping back she bowed "Forgive me. I wasn't focusing."     "Clearly" He scoffed fixing his shirt "you-"      "Noel!" A voice said walking up to him "Be nice" he says sternly.  The male turned to Isabella with a kind smile he looked to be no older than 40 and had grayish hair slicked back. He wore glasses and seemed to fit, He was pretty tall around 5'11 she would guess. The person he called Noel seemed to be more on the skinny side and was only 5'9. "You're not hurt are you? What kingdom are you from?" He asked.     "Oh yes, I am Princess Isabella from the kingdom of Asteria" She curtsy before straighten up.     "Asteria? What an honor. I am Merlin the Royal council and attendant to Noel here the Prince of Melidona" Merlin bowed.  Isabella blinked and looked at the Prince before bowing again "It's a pleasure to meet you both, again i am sorry for bumping into you" She says politely.     "Tch, whatever" He muttered walking away.  Merlin was going to say something but sighed "Excuse him, he is always like this. Please enjoy the party" He said before catching up to Noel.  Merlin pulled him over to the side "You are unbelievable."    "What are you on about? I didn't even say anything rude this time. you should be proud" Noel retorted    "You-" Merlin stopped himself rubbing the bridge of his nose sighing. "Don't you recognize her Kingdom name?" He asked.  Noel looked at him raising a brow "No, should I?"    "Asteria, The mythical kingdom that is connected to the spirit world...She could help break your family curse" He whispered to him so no one around heard them. Noel eyes widened as he glanced to Isabella who was standing by the snack table sipping a drink.    "Are you certain?" Noel asked.    "Positive"    "Then what should i do?" Noel asked unsure of the sudden hope he starts to feel. "This is your ball to find a suitor" Merlin reminds him.  Frowning Noel glanced back to her once more before looking at Merlin. He didn't want to be married and hated that his idea involved putting feelings in the mix "I refuse."  Merlin rolled his eyes at Noel's stubbornness "Your highness you don't have much of a choice at this point just...Think about okay. Also ask her to dance" Merlin says before trying to fix Noel's messy hair. swatting his hand away Noel backed up.     "Fine" He tried to walk back over to Isabella but was stopped by a crowd of girls wanting to dance with him. He couldn't really refuse them without looking like a total jerk.  "You girls shouldn't crowd him...It makes you look desperate" A female says from behind Noel. they all turned to look at a blonde blue eye female. She wore a blood red dress with black flower designs through the dress. it was strapless and gave off a mature look. The other girls scoffed and whispered to each other walking away. Noel was amazed by her beauty, it caught him off guard.    "I owe you for saving me there" He says    "No need, I just think it's a bad look for us girls, I'm Princess Diana of the Tremela kingdom. It's a pleasure to finally meet you your highness" She curtsy.     "The pleasure is all mines" He bowed. He couldn't help but be drawn to her and forgot what e was originally suppose to do "Would you like to dance?" He asked holding a hand out to her.  Smiling Diana took hold of his hand I would love that" She replied and he led her out to the dance floor.   Meanwhile Isabella placed her hands on the table sighing "Man that was rough, the prince seems so scary" Isabella commented. {He was such a jerk, i would have bitten him if i was allowed} Crystal tells her earning a giggle from Isabella.     "You have a pretty smile" A male voice says suddenly causing Isabella to jump and turn around. The male chuckled showing his white set of teeth. "Sorry i didn't mean to scare you" He tells her in a semi-deep voice that was also soothing.      "It's my fault for spacing out, thank you for the compliment though" Isabella replied.      "My pleasure, you seemed upset at first but then smiled i was going to ask if you were okay, A pretty girl should never have a frown on her face"  Blushing Isabella looking away shyly "T-Thanks..."    {My, now this is a real prince i like him} Crystal told her    "Would you like to dance with me?" He asked holding out a hand. Isabella looked at it and shook her head "I'm not good at dancing i don't want to embarrass you" She replied. "Something tells me you will be just fine" He says taking her hand gently into his and guiding her out onto the dance floor.  Isabella was very nervous she didn't wanna step on his foot or trip in front of so many people. "Just follow my lead you'll be fine" He says softly into her ear. Her heart almost skipped a beat, it was overwhelming. She simply nodded and followed his footsteps with the music. "How rude of me i didn't introduce myself, I'm Prince Antonio of Garza Kingdom."     "I'm Isabella of Asteria" she smiled     "Asteria? Isn't that the kingdom supposedly connected to the spirit world? I heard about as  tale but didn't think it was real. It's an honor to meet you Princess" He grinned.    "Isabella is fine, no need for formalities. Our family is very strict on coming out but i was lucky enough o have the chance to be out."   "Well i for one am glad your here...You should visit my Castle sometime It is a very beautiful place, Maybe not as much as yours but i do take pride in it" He says. Isabella giggled and nodded "I'd like that. I will be more than happy to take you up on that offer" They both smiled and continued to dance.  The night seemed to be going well for everyone and it hadn't even reached midnight. Noel and Diana had finished dancing walked off to the side to get a drink "I am sorry again your highness, I didn't think my dancing would be that bad" Diana says giggling. Noel gave a slight smile waving his hand dismissively.      "It's no big deal. I appreciate you dealing with me for so long" He replied sipping his drink. "Yes well, I really shouldn't hog you too much longer. I should let other princesses have their turn. It was a pleasure, excuse me" She bowed then walked away.  Noel wanted to say something and stop her but Merlin popped up in front of him making him jump back a little with a hand on his chest. Sighing he rolled his eyes before looking at is trusted Royal council and attendant "What is it now? I was actually enjoying myself for a minute there"    "I noticed, and i am happy to hear you are able to bite your tongue and refrain from being unsociable but that is not the goal right now. you were suppose to dance with Princess Isabella and get her to fancy you" Merlin reminded him.  Noel once again sighed "It isn't a big deal I can still go ask her"    "You sure about that?" Merlin asked and turned him around to show him Antonio and Isabella dancing and smiling. "He was always one step ahead of you your highness. Do something." Merlin tells him hastily before walking away. Noel flared his nostrils as he let out a deep breath, he set his drink down before walking over to the two and put a hand on Antonio shoulder.     "Mind if i cut in?" He asked. Isabella was surprised to see the Prince while Antonio smiled "Why of course not, this is your ball" He looked at Isabella "until next time Princess" he bowed before walking away. Isabella waved and followed him with her eyes. Noel blinked and snapped his fingers in front of her face kicking her out her trance.    "Don't tell me you like that know-it-all. you have strange taste" He says dancing with her. Isabella just followed along with his steps like she did with Antonio "Well why not? He seems kind and charming on first impressions...the total opposite of you actually" she says a bit too eager. Noel looked at her with a glare that made her look away nervously    "S-sorry..."  Sighing he shook his head "Whatever, I apologize if i came off rude. Everyone seems to be so excited for today and hopes i pick someone to marry and to hurry and have a kid with but, I don't want that. I would rather wait find someone in time. I can't help but feel annoyed." He huffed looking away.  Isabella blinked tilting her head "Well isn't it normal to at least be engaged to someone by now usually it's planned right? You get more freedom than most" "Freedom? No. this is not freedom" He replied clenching his jaw before relaxing. He looked down at Isabella who looked at him with big curious and concerned eyes.     "...Asteria, That is the Kingdom to which is connected to the spirit world right? Well...I was wondering why now of all times did a family member come out to our kingdom" He says wanting to know if she knew anything. Thinking about his question Isabella simply shrugged after a moment.     "Simple. I wanted to see the world"  Raising a brow Noel tilted his head a bit "What? Why?"    "I have an older brother who will be king soon and because of that i won't rule the kingdom so my parents-after much convincing- let me see the other kingdoms. People would use or hurt us if we came out often. We protect ourselves by never leaving and having the heir spouse come to the kingdom. it's been that way for a long time cause not only do we have ourselves to protect but the spirits also" She explained.  Noel paused their dance and let her go "So the stories are true? In that cause, I'd like to make a deal with you"
