Everything was silent for a moment. The demonic legion stopped hissing and stared us down. A thick, rotten smell hung in the air that I had to force the rising vomit back to my stomach. My muscles tensed as I waited for the nightmarish creatures to attack. And then they did. All around was absolute chaos as the silence that enveloped the valley was replaced with loud and high pitched ululations. Countless beasts dashed toward us in terrifying speed.
