I was exhausted and I wanted nothing more than to lie in the ground and sleep. But I wasn't sure if I could, not when we are so close to ending this quest. I was shivering. The cold, damp air, along with the water that was still all over us, was not something that I, who lived in a place that was as hot as Jaffa, was used to. But I did not complain. I stole a glance at Lyana, Magat, and Amias. They, too, were shivering, but their eyes were shut and I could see their chests rise and fall, indicating that they were asleep.
