Amaya’s POV
Nikolai ordered the food, he didn’t let me pay and I’m mad at him, because who does that. I hate it when I’m not been listened to.
“Are you still not speaking to me.”
“I’m not, leave me alone.”
“Fine, I’m sorry I didn’t let you pay. I promise I will let you pay next time.”
“So there is a next time.”I blushed when I said that.
“Of course Lyubov.”
I adjusted my bed so I could get a better laying position.
It’s been thirty minutes since I called Dommy, I wonder what the hell is making him take so long.
The door opened I was expecting to see Dommy but it was the stupid nurse, she completely ignored me and stared at Nikolai.
“If you are fine staring at him, can you tell me what the f**k is wrong and if I need to stay in this pit-hole.” She stared at me with shock.
“Sorry. We have checked your vitals, you are fine but the doctor suggests you should take some vitamin that would be good for you.”
“I’m not doing that darling, go tell your doctor that I won’t be taking any stupid vitals.”
“But-.” I interrupted her before she could say anything.
“Don’t f*****g speak. Get the discharge papers so I can leave.”
She said a quiet yes before she decided to leave the room.
I know I shouldn’t have been that rude to her but I hate to be told what to do and what to take, God I know I have a f*****g problem.
“You can be rude sometimes,” Nikolai said.
“I know.”
I picked up my phone and called Dommy again, where the hell are they. He didn’t pick up the call so I decided to call one more time, I called him.
Better f*****g pick the call Dommy my inner thought cursed.
“Don’t get mad. I’m already in the hospital I will soon be there.” Dommy said once he answered the phone.
“You better be because you have a lot of explaining to do on why you are late.”
“Trust me, Maya, you will be the one explaining.”
I hung up the phone, I hope he didn’t find out about Tyson, me lying about the fact he touched me.
The door to my room opened widely, and Ezra walked in.
“Ezra.”
Ezra walked towards me and evolved me in a hug.
“I was so worried Maya.”
“I know I’m sorry.”
Ezra inspected my body to make sure I didn’t have any injury, that’s when he notice Nikolai in my room.
“Who the f**k is that?.”
“He helped me, he took me to the hospital,” I said to Ezra before he would rip his head apart thinking something is going on between me and him.
“Thank you,” Ezra said, he sounded rude though, Ezra did not care about people that are not his family.
Nikolai gave him a nod.
“Where is dommy?.”
“He is speaking to the doctor he will be here. You have a lot of explanations to do Maya.”
Fuck I’m in deep trouble. I’m sure they won’t let me hear the last of this.
“I know.”
I looked over at Nikolai who was engrossed in his phone not giving any of us any attention, I knew we just met but can’t stop using his stupid phone and looking at me.
Fucking stupid men.
“Maya.” The voice was loud it was heard loudly in the room, I watched as Dommy walked in.
“Hey, Dommy.”
“Better start explaining Maya. I saw the footage, what were you thinking wearing that and you lied about Tyson. He didn’t actually touch you like you made it sound. God, I was so f*****g worried when we found your car and you weren’t there.” He exclaimed.
“I’m sorry Dommy. I promise to be more careful. And I’m sorry I lied. I just don’t like Tyson and he pisses me up. Sorry, Dommy. I promise I will be more careful.” My voice sounded soft and low. I know I can be irresponsible but I hope Dommy doesn’t get mad.
“It’s still mad. I f*****g ki-.” I didn’t allow Dommy to complete his sentence. I started coughing indicating there is someone in the room.
“Meet Nikolai. He saved me and bought me to the hospital. Nikolai these are my brothers Dominic and Ezra.” Dommy’s attention turned to Nikolai.
He gave him a warm smile. “Thanks for saving my sister.” He said while shaking Nikolai.
Dommy’s eyes met mine. I know I have a lot of apologizing to do.
Dommy didn’t say anything neither did Ezra.
God this awkward silence. I hate it.
One of the nurses walked into the room. Her eyes averted away from Nikolai. I’m sure she didn’t want a repeat of me being rude again.
“These are the vitamins. She is fine, one of you has the sign the discharge papers then she can leave.”
“I will sign it,” Ezra said.
Ezra collected the papers from the nurse and signed them. Dommy was still unusually quiet. I can tell he is very pissed off, I really messed up big time.
“Come time to leave,” Ezra said.
“We got you some clothes. Change into it, meet us in the car.” Dommy said without looking at me. I hate when he is pissed off at me. I want my old Dommy back.
I nodded my head. Ezra and Dommy left the room leaving me all alone with Nikolai.
“He is mad at you. You messed up big time.” Nikolai said breaking the ice.
“I know.”
Nikolai walked toward me with a smile on his face and sat next to me. “He is just worried I can tell. They care so much about you Amaya.” The way he said my name send chills down my spine.
Fuck can you be turned on by someone just saying your name.
“I know,” I whispered. I have never felt this venerable before. It’s like the way he looks at me, it makes me feel scared yet protected. Swallowing a lump in my throat, his jaw tightened. f**k.
God, I need to get this man out of my mind.
“I need to get dressed they are waiting for me.” I didn’t allow Nikolai to say anything. I stood up from the bed and sprinted into the bathroom.
God this man is taking up so much space in my mind.
I came face to face with the mirror, my hair was scattered, and my makeup was a bit ruined. God, I look homeless. I washed my face and changed into the joggers and shirt Dommy got me.
I was expecting to see Nikolai but no one was in the room. Wow, he left without saying goodbye.
“Can we talk?” I said to Dommy once we got into the house. He didn’t say a word. “Please.”
“Fine, we can talk in my office.”
I followed Dommy to his office. The drive back home was quiet, Dommy didn’t say a word as expected and Ezra was quiet too. I had already thought of what to say to Dommy once we arrive home. I just hope he forgives me.
Dommy took a sit on his leather chair waiting for me to speak.
“I’m sorry. I know I have said that a lot but this time I really am. I know I have been irresponsible Dommy but I swear I’m sorry and I’m going to work on that. I know what I did today was terrible. I shouldn’t have lied, I shouldn’t have worn the dress and because of me being irresponsible something bad almost happened to me. Please don’t ignore me Dommy, you are my best friend and brother. I know whatever you do you are just trying to protect me and I make it hard for you because I’m always doing stuff I want. I promise I will work on being responsible and I won’t do what I did tonight ever.” I breathed out once I finished what I was saying.
Dommy didn’t say a word for two minutes which almost felt like forever. I just hope he doesn’t tell Dad or Mom. Mom would be disappointed I lied and because of me, a man got killed, and well Dad would force me to go back home.
“Please say something.” I finally said. I am tired of this quietness.
“I was so worried Maya. God, I thought something happened, and after what happened this morning, the man that was sent to spy on you. God, I was scared someone got to you.”
“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. It won’t happen again.” I gave him my best puppy eyes, the ones that made me look like I’m about to cry. It always works on Dommy, Ezra, and Dad.
“Fine but promise to never do what you did today. You never going lie to me and you won’t be irresponsible again.”
“I promise.” I hugged Dommy.
“I’m getting you a new necklace and we have to find the man that pushes you and from now on you have ten bodyguards following you.”
I knew better not to argue with Dommy, maybe later but now I just earned his forgiveness.
“Fine.”
After Dommy, It’s time to apologize to Ezra, Ezra is not usually difficult like Dommy. Just give him a bottle of whiskey, a few praises, and a few sorry he will forgive you instantly.
