ZIYOS

The galloping sound of the racing unicorns flew the dust of light and swept it away with the wind.  The knights riding the unicorns crashed into the direction of the Crowd in Imp, a black dwarf creature with antennae above its two temples. The knight bravely fought the imps even though the numbers were outnumbered. Far behind, a huge creature, with blood-red eyes and black iron armor ravaged the knights with its spiked club. Among the knights earlier, a knight with with white wings on his back tried to block the creature's attack with his shield to save the other knights. "Give me the Ziyos Crystal, and I will let you live as slave!" Black Creature order. Suddenly, orange light soaring through the horizon distracted them from the direction of the fort. "It’s too late Kharados, the moving ritual has been activated" White Knight speak to dashed his hopes. "Dumb creatures!"  Kharados staring at the knight furiously. Black aura surround the truncheon that he held and slammed into the knight making him bounced and fell to the ground. With a blurry sight, the knight couldn’t do anything when Kharados approached him again. "I will get the crystal somehow, no one can stop me... " then Kharados give the knight a final blow. IN THE SPACE. A worm hole suddenly formed above the Earth's atmosphere and an asteroid with 8 meters of diameter came out of the hole and shot toward Earth.The meteor starts crashing and destroying several of the satellites it crosses before hitting the atmosphere. NASA Headquarters, Washington D.C. Fat man enjoying his donut and coffee, choked and surprise seeing the display on his monitor screen. "Sir, our connection with satellite WGS 10 has been disconnecte!" he shouted. The Supervisor who was talking with other staff immediately came over to him and checked what happened. "The signal from Atlas V-501 also disappeared!" another staff shouted. All of the staffs in the room become anxious trying to find out the cause. Then the radar detects an asteroid that has entered  Earth's atmosphere. "How can we miss it??" Supervisor asked angrily to all staff. "it is likely that the asteroid's energy absorbed our radar signal and was not reflected back so that it was not detected" staff explain. "There is a concentration of electric quanta energy on the asteroid path.." another staff report. The room fell silent, they turned to the supervisor. "Unmistakably, this was a wormhole trail ..." supervisor said. "what kind of meteor who came out from the wormhole and streaking towards to earth?" continued speaking. From the radar it can be seen the asteroids are burned by the friction of the earth's atmosphere, fragmented into pieces of meteors and scattered to various parts of the world. "Find out where it might fall and report every data that you all got, we must find the secret before any other country" supervisor order. All the staff back to work and try their best to not miss anything.   Herkimers Mine, New York - 10 Minutes Before Meteor Fall Some children can be seen mining rocks around the mine area, a large banner with the words “Summer Camp & Fun” stuck on the ground as a gathering point.  They looked so happy find some of the rocks and crystals that most of the event organizers had actually prepared. Regan Walz, a 13 year old boy blonde hair wearing a hoodie jacket. He walked away from the crowd into the deeper forest to looking for better quarry stones. From a distance, a teacher saw Regan ran into the forest, called him but didn't hear, then followed Regan. A moment later, Regan saw a flash of light streak across the sky and he chased after it. He following the direction where the meteor fell and found a crystal meteorite which was as big as a battery in the middle of forest. The meteorite shined a golden yellow and greenish light and it was stuck in the ground forming a 1 meter diameter of basin, then Regan tried to take it. "Arghht!"  Regan moaning in pain, his hand got scratched when he tries to pulls out the crystal. Took a handkerchief from his pocket, pressing it against his finger to stop the bleeding. He didn't realize the meteorite sucked Regan’s blood that dripped to the surface of the crystal, and it entered the core of the crystal making the glowed light dimmed out. "Regan, let’s go back! The bus is waiting."  yelled a teacher from a distance. Regan hurried pulled out the crystal and wrapped it with his handkerchief. After that he run to his teacher then got back to gathering point  and got into the school bus that has been waiting. Regan sat on the back seat beside the window and stared at the pine trees passed by the bus with a normal speed. The day was getting darker, Regan felt sleepy and tired, so he closed his eyes because there were 4 hours left till he reached New York. In his sleep he had a vision. Suddenly he was in a long corridor with large pillars, the atmosphere is very quiet, only the sound of the wind blowing dry leaves that can be heard and a thin mist that obscured the view. Scared and confused, he walked slowly calling his friends and teacher, but only his voice echoed. There was a sound of footsteps running fast followed by another footsteps. A woman in a hooded white robe ran with a heavy sigh trying to escape from the black army. Regan can see them but they not. When sShe passed through Regan, the woman seemed to be able to felt his presence. She paused for a moment and turned to Regan. "you have ziyos, use it wisely... don't fall into the wrong hands" she warned. The woman hurriedly ran after noticing the army who chasing after her was getting closer, she ran into the fog and disappeared, followed by three soldiers. Regan was stunned by the confusion of what happened to him just watching them go. Regan didn’t realize that Kharados has stood behind him, blazing his sharp eyes to his surrounding. Just like the woman, he could also felt Regan’s presence. "I can feel you, your scent..."  (sniffing, inhaling deeply) "You have the piece of ziyos..." Kharados tried to find Regan’s presence, when he was about to reach him, his sight turned dark and Regan got awoken from his dream.   5 Year Later ..... Regan woke up from his dream, sitting on his bed with his clothes damp from his sweat, sometimes he still dreams of the same thing. "Good morning Regan, it seems like you are not feeling well today. Angel will activate the aroma of chamomile therapy." a sound from a speaker on the ceiling of the room. A spray sound can be heard and it scented the room. Regan looked at the digital clock planted on his wall and it visibly showed the time of 07:00 a.m. He got up from his bed and went out of his room. He walked down the stairs, smell the grilled meat from the kitchen and saw his father who was cooking and preparing sandwich while whistling happily. "Did something good happen, dad? " Regan ask while walking to the refrigerator and took out a juice. "Today will be a historical moment for the humankind!". James turns around while pointing with spatula in his hand. James left his dish and sat right across Regan. "I will perform a demo of the machine that I’ve been develop for the last few years, an incident recap machine!" he said excitedly. "This machine will absorb the memory about an incident in a certain place, Then it will visualize the memories into a picture of mixed reality." Regan pay close attention to his father's story while sipping the juice in his hand. "Remember quantum physics which states that everything in the universe consists of energy, including ourselves…" James continues his story. "The energy field that exists within us will connects us to the energy source of the universe and everything in it" "So this machine will absorb and process the energy traces that attached to some places and display it virtually... it’s like watching the incident from the past?"  Regan curious. "Yes! It works like a police crime scene where they collect fingerprints found at the scene and then develops them to prove a crime"  The story not over yet, they smelled something burned and fire started to emit from the grill pan, his dad rushed to stand up and covered the grill with napkin. James commanding Angel, artificial intelligence which installed in the home system. Hydrochlorofluorocarbon gas was sprayed from the stove and extinguished the fire immediately. James took the burnt meat and put it in the cheese sandwich layer, it’s a little bit burned but they ended up eating it anyway. Incoming Mail  sound from James' left arm, he press it by his finger then projecting the visual screen appear and checking the mails. He took the glasses in his shirt’s pocket, he wore it and read the mail, and then he stood up and took his sweater on the chair. James says he must go to the office immediately because the investors came early. Regan walked to the family’s room while holding his sandwich and saw James leaving with his car through the window he passed on his way. Regan sat on the couch and turned on the television displaying the visual with Augmented reality (A.R), He tried to change the channels looking for interesting show. Then he saw the news about politician Jason Kurt was found dead at his home in the early hours this morning, this was the 3rd mysterious series of events that happened this month, previously, Melinda Chloe and Jeff Fulton were also found dead. And the causes of their death are still unknown. Lots of reporters can be seen in the place of incident, and police are guarding Jason’s place. Reporter said Jason Kurt died with his body frozen to his internal organs, medical experts and police are still investigating the cause and what is the motive behind this series of murders. "brak!" something dropped from the second floor. Regan called angel to confirm what was happened. After waiting for awhile but there was no respond, Regan got up from his seat, he walked up the stairs to the second floor. He checked the room and a wooden box can be seen lying on the floor. He took the wooden box and wondered how it fell from the cupboard. He put the box on his desk; there were several things in the box including the meteorite crystal that he found. Regan opened the wrap of the crystal, there was no light came out from the crystal. Then he also took a 4R size photo in the box, a picture of him as a child with his father and mother. Flashback when he was played on the swings with his mother in a warm weather ... when celebrate 13rd birthday party, his parents gave him gifts then James recorded it. Regan smiled remembering that time. Flashback again, his mom said she will go for some time to do a charity event in the hinterland of Mogoi ... several days later in the police station, the police stated that the small plane that his mom took went missing in the forest and there was no trace that can be found. Regan put the photo on the table, staring at it for awhile then he stood up to take his sweater in the cupboard and went out leaving the box open. A few moments after Regan left, the meteorite crystal let out a faint shine.   Regan turned on his gravity skateboard and rode it to school. His skateboard floated above the ground and coasted through the City Street that was decorated with blooming magnolia’s tree and jacaranda. The billboards along the street projected the holograms of various kinds of advertisements; the sophisticated drones flew around to deliver goods and a new cell phone’s technology where the phone is embedded in humans’ arm. All of them are parts of technology developed by Foremost Company. Nowadays Foremost Company is one of the biggest technology company in The World, they make various kinds of technology for transportation, communication, household, pharmacy, security, armament and ecosystems. Technology they created has controlled nearly 30% of the world's needs. Dalton School, Entering the school area, Regan non-activated his skateboard and walked. He walked not far from the gate, suddenly someone came and wrapped their arm around Regan’s shoulder. It was Martin, black fat boy with rapper style is regan's best friend. Martin told him about up-to-date news in the school that they will teach by sexy substitute biology teacher. Regan didn't really respond to Martin's perverted thoughts, and Martin taunted him that he was attracted to other men? Regan and Martin joked around while walking together. Then Martin’s attention shifted to the Skateboard in Regan’s hand. "Wow! Is that the new X-20 gravity skateboard?!"  eyes sparkling looking at it. Regan tell Martin that his father work on Foremost Company so his father got it even though it is not yet sold in the market. Martin forced Regan to let him borrow it and Regan lent it to him. Martin tried the skateboard and he was having too much fun with it. "You're lucky huh, your dad work in the biggest and the most advanced technology company in the world... Is he an important person? What’s his position?" "He is an inventor..." Regan talked a lot about his father job as they walked towards the school building. "I only know about the artificial intelligence technology, cell regeneration machines and now he is developing an incident recap machine, he never tells me about the other inventions..." Regan told "That is so cool dude... Now I’ve become your father’s fan..." Martin impressed. ----- In Locker Room,  Regan opened the locker with hand authentication pinned to the wall then he put his skateboard in. Not far from his locker, Regan looked at a girl who was also taking out books from her locker. Cate is a girl he has a crush on, reddish black hair with beautiful blue eyes. "Love has always been like this, the suffering never end..."  Someone bumped on to Regan’s shoulder and it brought him back from his fantasy. A muscular boy looked at Regan with two of his friends following him and went to embrace Cate in his arms. Cate exchanged gaze with Regan then they went away from the locker, a few moments after than Regan and Martin also left.   In the class, sexy teacher was explaining the evolution theory with a projector, the boys were more focused on other stuff instead of the slide while whispering to their friends. "The natures that become the fundamental of this evolution are carried by genes that are passed on to the offspring of a living thing and become variable within a population." Martin poked Regan who was sitting behind him while fiddling with his thumbs, Regan did not respond, instead, he would gaze at Cate who was on the front seat. "So this new trait can later be obtained from changes in genes due to mutations or gene transfer between populations and between species." teacher continues explaning Dave who sat across at the back seat watched Regan stealing glances at his lover (Cate). He threw a crumpled paper at Regan and threatened him with his fist sign. "there have been many theories explaining evolution, from the theory of species creation where each species has been created in its present form by external and supernatural forces, up to the famous evolution theory by Darwin." "Can human still evolve?" Martin raising his hand and cut the explanation. "Of course humans can still evolve, even though the changing tempo is slow and we don't realize it ... we can compare the genes of various nations in the world, we can see how far humans have evolved since they first appeared and this can also be seen in our genes and the progress in doing genome sequence." teacher answer him. "Can I evolve into someone more handsome and have a six pack abs then...?" Martin tries some joke. Other student mocking Martin as fish meatball, the teasing and laughter made the atmosphere class become noisy. the teacher asked the class to calm down, then it become quiet again. "The human consciousness is an object of thought and research whose puzzle has not been completely resolved until now. Whatever the definition and how it works, consciousness is proven to be the most recent product ever created in the process of evolution." back to explain. "What about the next? Is consciousness the end product of evolution? Or does evolution still have the potential to create something far greater than consciousness?" Bell is ringing, the class ended and the students left the class. Schoolyard, Regan walked towards the schoolyard with Martin. They could see Dave waiting with his friends while leaning against the cap of the car. They approached Regan. Cate tried to stop them but they ignored her. "I don’t like the way you stare at my girlfriend!" Dave threatening Regan and walked around Regan and Martin in circle along with his friends. Regan and Martin tried to avoid him but they ignore it. Cate came and tried to stop them, pulled Dave’s hand to stop fighting. But Dave gets emotional and humiliates Cate, saying that Cate is a playgirl and is really lucky to be with him. Cate gets angry and offended, then leaves them. Dave chased after Cate. Regan, Martin and Dave’s friend only watched them leave. Dave’s friends became confused since the situation was different from what they’ve planned. They let go off them and ran after Dave. Martin acted as if he was fighting them from afar after they left Regan. "If they touched me, I would have beaten them up! They didn’t know I learned Kung Fu during my holiday in China!" Martin talks arrogantly, Showing some gestures and pose. "Yeah, I think they wouldn’t dare to budge you again if you’ve showed them from the start.." Regan walked away while smiling sarcastically. That’s called humble bro. Have you never heard of this saying of “Be like the bamboo, the higher you grow, the deeper you bow”. Martin tried to justify himself. "Ok, Ok...next time I will rely on you." Regan begged. "Hey, don’t you hear what I said? Low profile...low profile..." Martin said.
