I took a seat once I got inside the conference room. They all turned to look at me as I did. Dr. Eduardo Perez was looking suspiciously at me as he said “What is going on with you and that girl? Are you cheating on my daughter?”
This confirmed my suspicion that Trish didn’t tell her parents about our breakup. I couldn’t find a better time to do it than today.
Jerome: “Trish and I broke up already. Valerie is my fiancé.”
Trish: “What? You proposed to that wh*re? How could you?”
