As I walk into the house, I notice that all is quiet. I wonder if maybe Fiona and Erik went somewhere. I close my eyes and listen carefully for any kind of sound, and find Erik’s breathing. He must finally be sleeping after his rough night with Lykos… That wolf can sing! Trying to listen for any other noises, I determine that Fiona is out.
Shifting as I walk through the back door, and down the passage to our room, I walk right into my beautiful wife! I haven’t put on the pants Ant gave me just in case I needed them. Great! A smile starts forming on her face, making me blush. What the heck is she smiling at? This is embarrassing!
“There you are.” She takes a few steps back, looking me up and down, still smiling, and her thoughts start coming through our mind link slowly.
