Chapter 19: Engaging in peace

.........Maya POV............

'Does he not like it?' I asked Nyx while panicking.'Is it too much?'

(I don't know, I thought he would like it!) She cried back. I looked down at his pork and veggies that was untouched.

'What do we do now?' Just then a heard of elephants ran down the stairs, he was coming to tell me he hated it. I didn't look up when he entered the room, I didn't want to make him feel bad. 

"Maya." My name rolled off of his tongue, he sounded breathless, I looked up at him trying to keep my tears from rolling down my cheeks. "I....I have no words for how incredible this is." A huge wave of relief washed over me and I could feel myself smile. 

"I..." I began but he cut me off and got down on one knee.

""I was planning to do something like this for you, but as usual you beat me to it. I love you Maya, and after showing me the flower and the essay this morning I knew I had to do this. Maya Grace Kilter will you be mine in every way and become my wife?" He held out a small purple box and popped the lid open. Inside sat a gorgeous rose gold band with three stones, the two smaller one were ameytheist while the one in the center was a large diamond. I felt warm happy tears fall down my face as I tried to speak. 

"I...Y......The...."All I could do in the end was nod and throw my body onto his. He took the ring from the box and slid it on to my finger as he held me. After a few minutes I realized dinner was going to get cold so I pulled myself up and took his hands. "Dinner is getting cold." He nodded and we sat down, we ate the really good (If I do say so myself, and I do) dinner silently. 

"Maya this is delicious." Thomas said while eating. I purred deep in my chest sounding like a feline, I smiled and kept eating happily. When dinner was done I took the dirty dishes to the sink while Thomas took the table and chairs to the gym after wiping them down. I met him back in the hot tub room and placed a large kiss on his lips. He smiled and I broke the kiss before uncovering the hot tub and turning it on. "We have a hot tub?!" I nodded while biting my bottom lip. 

"It hasn't been used yet, I thought tonight would be the perfect time to test it out." He growled lowly before placing another large hot kiss on my lips.

Maya POV

When I woke up in the morning I was happy to see I was pulled up against Thomas's chest. I giggled a bit and wiggled my way out of his arms before rushing to the bathroom to pee. This time I pulled on a lavender halter top and black skinny jeans. I noticed my socks were fine so I slipped on my grey boat shoes and ran down to the car where somehow Thomas was already waiting. 

"Let's go Angel, can't keep 'em waiting." He said with a devilish smirk. I growled before getting into the passenger seat and letting Thomas drive us to the pack house.
