Chapter 20: Peace pacts

"Hola Rosa." I said turning to my dad's mate ignoring him. When Thomas and I pulled up to the pack house he and Rosa were waiting for us on the steps. 

"Hola Maya, te ves mejor que cuando te vi la última vez." (You look better than when I saw you last.)

"Tengo mi amor conmigo ahora." (I have my love with me now.) I said happily. "Rosa, este es mi prometido Thomas!" (Rosa, this is my fiance Thomas.)

"Hola Rosa." Thomas said looking at the small spanish woman. 

"Prometido? Desde cuando?" (Fiance? Since when?)

"Anoche, He estado esperando casarme con Maya desde el día en que cumplió quince años." (Last night, I've been waiting to marry Maya since the day she turned 15.)

"Tienes suerte de tener un hombre como el Maya." (You are lucky to have a man like him Maya.) Rosa said with a dreamy sigh. 

"Soy la afortunada Rosa, Maya ha estado a mi lado desde que era un omega sin nada." (I'm the lucky one Rosa, Maya has been by my side since I was an omega with nothing.)

"The moon goddess knew what she was doing with you two. Sometimes I question her match making skills." Rosa said in english, my dad growled lowly and looked at the ground. "Hell this man is still stupido, more often than not, trying to boss me around." I giggled as Raider and Xavier joined us, their lips swollen from making out in their car. 

"I would hit him with my shoe if I were you Rosa, or not pleasure him the way he wants." Rosa laughed evilly while my dad's face went fire engine red in embarrassment. 

"Is that what you do to your man?" She asked seriously. 

"No, he isn't a estupido cabeza de polla." (Stupid d**k head.)

"A what?" My dad asked. 

"A stupid d**k head." Xavier said simply, my dad growled at both Rosa and I, Thomas snarled at him and pulled me tighter to his side. My dad bowed his head in submission and backed up a bit. 

"¿Puede enseñarme ese truco?" (Can he teach me that trick?) 

"It's an Alpha thing." I said putting my hand on my hip. 

"Damn it, that would be useful on him and Carmen. I swear that little girl is going to be the death of me." I giggled while Thomas kissed my head. 

"Your Xavier correct?" My dad asked looking at Vee.

"I am." He said neutrally.

"What does prometido mean?" He asked. 

 "Hey look a car!" I said as a shiny grey SUV pulled into the driveway next to Kit. 

(T: Do you not want your dad to know?) Thomas sounded hurt. 

(M: I want the world to know, which is why I wanted to announce it at dinner when all the Alpha's are here with their unmated males and females.) I looked up at him and grinned mischievously. (Everyone needs to know both you and I are off the market.)

(T: Yes they do angel mate) Thomas said pulling my back into his chest, his arms tightened around my waist and his head rested on my shoulder, I giggled when his chest vibrated as he hummed in approval. I We watched as a middle aged man and similar aged woman got out of the SUV. They walked over to us followed by three men. A second SUV pulled up and the rest of his males and unmated females stepped out and joined them as they reached us. 

"Luna Maya, Alpha Thomas." I presume the man said. 

"Alpha Franklin, Luna Penelope." I said to them while Thomas tightened his arms around me. 

"You look so much like your father." Franklin said as his eyes swept over my body. 

"So I've heard." I said leaning into Thomas. "Would you like to get settled? We will meet once the rest of the Alphas get here." 

"That sounds wonderful." Penelope said taking her husbands hand.

"Xavier, Raider please escort them to their rooms." Thomas said. Raider and Vee nodded and led them away. "Deimos didn't like him looking at you." He whispered in my ear. 

"I'll be sitting on your lap during the meeting." I whispered back, he nuzzled my neck before nipping the unmarked side of my throat. The sound of an engine cut through the silence that followed and we looked up, a white trail blazer came roaring up the the front of the house. It came to a stop as Raider and Vee came back out to the porch. Matias jumped out of the passenger side and walked up to us bowing at myself and Thomas before looking at my dad. 

"I've heard a lot about you Penn." He said with a smirk. "Alpha Thomas, Luna Maya, Xavier and Beta Raider if I remember correctly." 

"Future Alpha Matias, it's nice to have you here without the usual eyesore." I said raising an eyebrow. 

"People were complaining so I had it removed." He said somewhat amused. 

"It reaked too." Xavier said making a disgusted face. Matias was going to say something when his nose flared and his eyes lit up. I smirked and looked around seeing Regina's wolf trotting our way, Matias looked toward her and growled lowly before turning back to us. 

"Who is this wolf?" He asked. She padded over to me and Matias handed me his shirt. I took it and handed it to her once she shifted into human form. 

"My name is Regina." She said breathlessly. 

"Matias" He uttered. "Any chance we can slip away and get to know one another a little bit better?" Matias asked Thomas and I. 

"Room 109 is yours." He smirked and grabbed Regina's hand before running off into the house, his wolves followed him with red cheeks. The next car to pull up was a small Cruze. I smiled when Christian and Xavier pulled each other into a large hug. 

"Welcome home Chris." I said pulling him into my embrace, he smiled then hugged Thomas before I was pulled back into his chest. I crooked my finger to him and pulled his ear to my face. "Don't tell a soul but look at my finger." I whispered lowly. I held it out to him and a smile lit up his face, he was vibrating from the excitement. He ran off the porch and shifted into his mid sized grey wolf and ran around in circles. He was yipping and making happy noises, he reminded me of a puppy. 

"Go get some clothes on Chris, you're greeting with us." He nodded and ran toward his house. 

..........Four hours later............

"Let's start shall we?" Thomas said as well all took our seats, I sat myself on his lap and he put his head on my shoulder. 

"Let's, you want to re-new our alliances seeing as you have just taken over as the Alpha pair correct?" Alpha Landon said looking at us with a bored expression. 

"Precisely." I said looking into his eyes. 

"Each of us heard about the council taking away Penn's title due to his treatment of his pack members, so why should we trust his spawn?" Alpha Zane asked scowling at me. Every Alpha in the room flinched and shrunk away when Thomas snarled at him. 

"Because Alpha Zane, I am not my father. At the age of 12 I was taken out of Wandering Moon and brought to Kingsley academy. I graduated at the age of 16 and went to Scotland and shadowed Luna Meredith while my mate shadowed Alpha Flint Maverick." I said emotionlessly.

"You're skipping the best part." Thomas said after taking a few deep breaths from the nape of my neck. "I was an omega here until the council came to choose wolves to go to the academy. I was beaten and bruised almost everyday. Honestly, I don't even know my own birthday seeing as I shifted 5 years early. All I know is that it's around the months of May and June. Back to my point, Maya has been the only wolf who has been by my side constantly. She has been my best friend since she was 5 and I was 7, when I was 14 the council came here to see wolves shift, it was this miracle who convinced me to shift for them. She was willing to sacrifice her happiness just so I could be safe. I was an omega with nothing and yet she treated me like a f*****g prince. She is nothing like her hypocritical parents, she is an angel sent from the moon goddess herself." I looked over at my mate who was smiling down at me lovingly. 

"If that is the case, then Blood dawn would like to renew our treaty with you." Alpha Zane said. 

"As will Summer Shadow." Alpha Landon said. 

"Silver Moon will keep our treaty with Wandering Moon." Alpha Franklin said. 

"Actually seeing as the name Wandering Moon had too many sour memories attached to it our pack is now called Jade Sky." I announced. 

"Rusty Mountain will keep our treaty valid with you Jade Sky." Luna Sierra added.

"As will Palm Sea." Matias said. 

"Well then we should probably go over the paperwork before we head down to dinner." Thomas said giving my hip a squeeze.  

After another grueling two hours the paperwork was completed, I stood from Thomas's lap and stretched my stiff muscles as the other alphas left the room. I took Thomas's hand and we walked out to the backyard where a large feast was being held. Before we could even reach our seat a wolf with jet black hair, large sea green eyes and snow white skin came bounding over to Thomas and I. She wore a very short black skirt that stopped right underneath her coochie. Her skimpy tube top was a sickening blazing pink that made me want to hurl. She was wearing 4 inch stilettos that if I wore I would break my neck. 

"Hello, you're Alpha Thomas correct?" She asked Thomas ignoring me. 

"I am." He said stated. 

"My name is Sarafina, I'm from Silver moon pack, did you really go from an omega to Alpha?" She looked like a little kid that had just seen Santa at the mall. 

"It is, but it wouldn't have happened without my girl." He said pressing his lips to my temple. 

"Really? I heard you were Alpha born." She said looking at me like I had a disease. 

"I am." I said confused, I had never been looked at like that. 

"I have not met a single Alpha born who hasn't acted above someone from the lower ranking members of a pack." She said judgmentally, Thomas growled lowly, but I set my hand on his chest and he stopped. 

"I know Alpha born wolves act like they are above everyone else, I trained at Kingsley academy with my best friend and love of my life." I said about to explain. 

"And you probably got picked on for being there...boo hoo...Did you get pummeled for being born, I think not. Alpha Thomas and I can relate to that while you cant." 

"You're right I can't, I've never been abused. My parents and my pack treated me like royalty, but I know what Thomas went through. Hell I was the one cleaning his wounds, I dragged his nearly lifeless body to the hospital after he had been beaten. I know what I went through pales in comparison to others, but I certainly don't deserve to get lumped into a group as wretched as the Alpha born." I walked away from the judgmental she-wolf and went to the woods skipping dinner and shifting into my wolf before running to a small spot in the woods where I knew Thomas and Deimos would find me. 

............Thomas POV..............

I could feel the conflicting emotions running through her head as she spoke to this wolf I wanted so badly to maul. She was disrespecting my Luna and upsetting her, when she finished her speech Maya ran off, I sighed as the she wolf triumphantly "Huummpptt"ed.

"She is dramatic." The wolf said rolling her eyes. "What do you see in her anyway?" The b***h had the audacity to ask. I snarled at her and the sickening thing got aroused, I gagged loudly before walking away from her. "Ummm hello?! I asked you a question!" She snarled. 

"I don't care, I have something more important than you to attend to." I spat at her before turning on my heel and going to find my woman. 

"You do realize she is only using you for power. she would never willingly give you a family seeing as she is too high above you in the social ladder, she's Alpha born while you're an omega. You're being used!" I ignored her and shifted, I ran through the woods to find a gorgeous black wolf curled up into a ball looking up at the sky. I yipped softly and she turned to me, her emerald eyes looked so confused. 

(T: Talk to me baby.) I said as I layed down beside her. 

(M: Do all omegas feel that way about alpha born wolves? Did you ever feel that way about me?) She whimpered once and set her head down on the ground. 

(T: Mostly yes, omega's can't stand the alpha born, to your second question...) I sighed. (Before you ran into me in the kitchen that day I had heard of you, and I was not eager to meet Alpha's Penn daughter. Then you literally ran head first into my world and knocked me on my ass. The moment you said I was your friend I knew you weren't like them Maya, so no. I have never really felt that way about you." I said truthfully putting my head next to hers. I watched as tears slid down her wolf face and I whimpered I didn't like seeing Maya cry, and neither did Deimos. 

(M: I want to change the way people see the alpha born Tommy. I think I know how to do it too.)
