Chapter 17: Jade Sky

"Well then let's get you both sworn in." Mason said smirking at us. "Maya Kilter, do you vow to protect Jade Sky pack and every wolf who lives within it's borders?"

"I vow to do so."

"Do you, Maya Kilter vow to lead this pack with the wisdom you have gathered from the past eighteen years of your life?" 

"I vow to do so."

"Do you vow to continue to lead this pack even if our Alpha should fall." I felt Thomas squeeze my hand and I returned the comforting gesture and looked at Mason. 

"I vow to do so."

Mason turned to Thomas and began anew, "Thomas Maverick, do you vow to protect Jade Sky pack and every wolf who resides in it's borders?" 

"I vow to do so."

"Do you, Thomas Maverick vow to lead this pack with the wisdom you have acquired from the past twenty years of your life?"

"I vow to do so."

"Do you vow to continue to lead this pack should your Luna fall?" I tightened my grip in Thomas's hand and he sighed. 

"I vow to do so." Thomas's voice cracked a little as he spoke. 

"Thomas Maverick and Maya Kilter, please drink from the goblet." Thomas handed me the goblet with our blood and I drank half, then handed it back to him, he finished the mixture and set the chalice on the table with the dagger. "Thomas and Maya, the council of werewolves identifies you as an Alpha and Luna. Let it be heard!" 

A rush of power washed over me and my body shivered, I felt Thomas do the same. There was a click in my mind as the pack mind-link connected the entire pack.  

(M: Greetings Jade Sky!) I said into the link. 

(Raider: Greetin's Luna!) I giggled and looked at Raider who was holding Xavier's hand in the front row. 

(Hello Luna.) The rest of the pack said into the link. (Welcome Alpha Thomas.) They added. 

"Jade Sky, if you would, please welcome Beta Raider, his mate Xavier and Gamma Christian." Thomas said ushering them over."

"Beta Raider as you know comes from Alpha Flint Maverick's pack in Scotland his mate Xavier and Christian trained with both Thomas and I at Kingsley Academy. All three are astounding warriors." I said smiling at them. 

"Welcome Beta Raider, Gamma Christian and Xavier." Jade sky said. 

"Thank ye'll for welcomin' us, t'is much appreciat'd." Raider said. 

(Time to run!) Nyx said into my mind.

"Jade Sky it's time for our run, all those too young to shift get to ride along, all of the kids over 12, please grab a young one under 6 and hold them for the ride." I said as I moved behind Thomas and began pulling off my clothes. Thomas took off everything except his trunks until I shifted and blocked the view from the pack. He shifted and wolf-kissed my muzzle before yipping and leading us all. I ran by his side not once leaving it, we reached the highest peak in the territory and howled all together. A strange heat took over my body and I began to feel a pain in my gut. 

(T: Raider take the pack home.) Thomas said into the link. (To the pack: Luna Maya and I are going to spend the night here, please follow Beta Raider home.) Once the pack was far enough away I let out a pained cry, I felt my bones snap and shift, but I was still in wolf form. When the pain stopped I looked up at Thomas who was holding my wolf head in his human lap. 

'Nyx?'

(I......I have no words.) She said astonished. 

'What's going on?' I whimpered

(We've changed, you have to go look in a mirror or something.) She cut our link and I stood up, Thomas followed me and stood, he seemed shorter. I nudged him then ran to our house and looked at my reflection in the window. Our eyes were no longer yellow, but emerald green like Thomas's, our coat was still black but our paws and underbelly were a lighter metal grey. The wolf head on our flank was now white instead of shark grey. I saw Deimos join us and that was when I realized Nyx had grown she now was roughly 5 ft 11. She was even larger than my dad's wolf Felix. 

(T and D: You look beautiful Angel Mate) Both Thomas and Deimos said into our mate link. 

I shifted back to human form, thankfully it was easy. Thomas shifted back and I was annoyed to see I was the same height, but I got over it once Thomas pulled me into his arms. If I had gotten any taller I wouldn't fit in his embrace so damn perfectly. 

"Yeah you do." Thomas chuckled, I looked up and stuck my tongue out at him for reading my thoughts. Jr, reared his head and pushed against my lower stomach. I bit my bottom lip and reached down, pulling him into my already wet center.

Thomas lifted me up and carried me onto the grass of our backyard and layed me down gently. He looked like a real life god under the pale light of the nearly full moon. I put my arms around his neck and played with his hair as he slowly began moving himself around in me. He moaned as I whimpered and pressed my lips to his.

We brought our clothes home and set them on the porch before letting our wolves out for the night.

"I'll be back in a few months." Christian said hugging us all. 

"And I'll come visit during the summer." Lenny said hugging us as well. 

"We'll be watching Jade Sky from afar." Mason said getting in the black Subaru. 

"It's a good thing we were counting on that." Thomas said. "Let Pop know I said hi."

"Will do Alpha." Mason said through his open window. I waved as the car with our Gamma along with my little brother drove away. I sighed once they were gone and decided to go get some work done. 

"C'mon Tommy, we've got work to do." I said pulling him back into the house and to our office. 

"What needs to be done Angel?" He asked sitting in the chair and pulling me down into his lap. 

"Well my love, we need to call up some of the packs my dad was allied with and re-new the treaties he made." I said pulling out the files I had sent from the office in the pack house. 

"We should also call Santiago and make an alliance with them seeing as your mom is his mate."

"Matias will be taking over as Alpha soon, I doubt he'll want to keep the alliance seeing as I keep disrespecting his f**k buddy."

"Let's call them anyway." Thomas set up the laptop and called Santiago on Skype. He answered on the third ring, my mother and an annoyed Matias looked at us.

"Luna Maya, Alpha Thomas what do I owe the pleasure of your call?" Santiago asked. 

"We would like to make an alliance with you Alpha Santiago and you future Alpha Matias." Thomas said. 

"Why the f**k should we?" Matias growled. "All you and Maya do is humiliate Dylan."

"You do realize if Tommy said the word Dylan would end whatever you two have and come after my mate right?" I dead-panned at Matias. 

"Bullshit." He growled. 

"Alpha Santiago, Mom, give us a few minutes. Call in Dylan and watch." I said getting off of Thomas's lap. "You'll see." I went behind the laptop and Thomas looked up at me. "Pretend you're talking to me Tommy."

"Alpha Thomas!" I heard her surprised voice say. "Y..you wanted to speak with me?"

"I always want to speak with you." He said looking at me subtly. 

"Really? What about Maya?" She hissed my name. 

"Maya is my past, you are my future." He said once again looking up at me, my cheeks flushed at his compliment. 

"Wha....Aren't you two mated?" She asked not hiding her amusement. 

"I would always choose you over my mate, I've loved you secretly since we met." I smiled and had to fight the urge to jump him right there. 

"Really?!" 

"Really, but I know you are with Matias now." He said with fake sadness. 

"You know, you're my one Tommy!" She purred. "I'll leave him for you in a heartbeat."

"Wow." I heard Matias snarl. "You're a f*****g bitch."

"Matty! What are you doing here?"

"Don't call me Matty stupid hoe." 

"Tommy will kill you for disrespecting me asshole." She shouted back as I walked around and went to perch myself on Thomas's lap, he pulled Jr free and pulled my skirt up discreetly and moved my panties over sliding me down on him tactfully. 

"No he wont." I said to the laptop as Thomas buried his head into my shoulder. 

"What are you doing? He's mine b***h!" She screamed at me. 

"No he isn't Dylan, Thomas and Maya are mates. I should have never fallen into your lust trap, I should have saved myself." Matias said with a sad sigh. 

"He just said...."

"The love of my life was behind the screen, I said everything to Maya not you." Thomas said with a growl before moving us away from the screen in the wheeled chair. Matias began yelling at Dylan while Thomas and I covered each other's mouths stifling our moans of passion as Thomas made quick work of releasing his pent up energy. When we were done I got on my knees and cleaned him up before zipping up his pants and pulling my skirt down. He fixed my hair and pulled me back onto his lap before wheeling us back into the view of the screen. 

"Leave Dylan, you have no place here." Matias sighed. Dylan huffed and stomped out of the room, Santiago and my mother wandered back in looking all sweaty and gross, Matias rolled his eyes and sat back down facing us. "An alliance would work." 

"Why don't you come to Jade Sky and spend a few nights here and we can create the paper in person." Thomas said to Matias. 

"That would work, my room is being cleaned of pests anyway, I'll be there in a few days." Matias said. 

"We'll have a room prepared." I said with a nod. 

"Jade Sky?" My mom asked. 

"As you know the name Wandering Moon had too many sour memories attached to it." I said emotionlessly. 

"Maya." She sighed, "why must you hate me?" She pouted her lips and gave me sad eyes. 

"I don't hate you, I just wont be forgiving you anytime soon." I said as Thomas gripped my hands.

"May I ask what your mother needs to be forgiven for?" Santiago asked. 

"Both of my parents let wolves in their pack get treated like s**t and beaten for being omegas. My father nearly killed an 8 year old boy and my mother sat by and watched never once lifting a finger in defense of the pack she was supposed to be protecting." I said emotionlessly. 

"I wasn't aware of this." Santiago said looking at my mother who's face was red with rage and embarrassment. 

"Luckily we have Maya now." Thomas said brushing some hair out of my face. "She is an angel sent from the moon goddess herself." I giggled as Thomas held me in a tight embrace and kissed my neck softly. 

"I hope Matias is as lucky in his future Luna as you are Alpha Thomas." Santiago said. "Well Matias will see you in a few days, may fortune be with you." He ended the call and our screen went black. 

(M: Raider will you get a room in the pack house arranged for Alpha Matias to stay in please?)

(R: O'course Luna.) 

(T: Thank you.) 

"We should call everyone and have them join us here and bring some unmated she wolves, maybe one of them will find their mates." I said while scratching my chin. 

"Mmmhmmm." Thomas hummed, he nipped my ear before closing the laptop and set me up on the desk slipping me out of my skirt and underwear. "First, I think it's time for lunch." I held myself up as Thomas ate his fill before standing up and pulling his pants down and sticking his hard member in me, filling me up to the brim with his seed.
