Chapter 16: Alpha/Luna ceremony

I yawned deeply as I got up from the spot I was laying in, Nyx and Deimos had spent the entire night romping around, I'm positive the whole pack heard them.....all night. I stretched my wolf form out before waking Thomas up, he looked at me lazily before licking my nose. 

(T: Morning Angel, why are you up so early?) He asked through our private mate link.

(M: I'm headed to the southern border and seeing if I can find the rouge Jim was talking about yesterday.) He stood up and shook his massive body before licking my wolf cheek. 

(T: Let's go then, no I wont let you go alone.) I nibbled his ear softly then licked his muzzle before sprinting to the border. Thomas was hot on my heels, not once getting more than 3 strides behind me. We slowed as we reached the border, I picked up the scent of the rouge and yipped, the small brown wolf stepped out of the bushes, I shifted and walked to the edge of the border in my full nakedness. 

"Regina." I said kindly. 

"Luna, Alpha." She said shifting before bowing to Thomas and I. 

"I'm assuming you're here to get back to the town you had called home." I said as Thomas set his head on the top of mine.

"Honestly, I have no idea why I'm here." She said shyly rubbing the back of her neck. "My wolf Matilda led me here a few days ago." 

"I see, may I speak with her please?" Regina nodded and her eyes went black. 

"Luna, Alpha." Matilda greeted. "You wished to speak with me." It was a statement not a question. 

"I did, I'm curious to know why brought Regina back here." I said tilting my head. 

"I felt a pull and decided not to ignore it." She said firmly. 

"Why are you a rouge?" It was something I needed to know, I wanted to add her to our pack but I was not willing to risk my wolves safety on a hunch. 

"My mother was the omega of her pack, one night the first Gamma got toasted and raped her. She ended up pregnant with me and her mate rejected her. She decided to leave and become a rouge, you see I was born a rouge and after hearing my mother's story I had no interest in joining a pack."

"Are you willing to now?" Her eyes went wide and went from black to blue. 

(T: Angel?)

(M: I think she is feeling the pull of the mate bond.) 

(T: Aha)

"Are you serious?"

"As the plague." I said lightly with a smile. "Regina I believe the pull that led you here is that of the mate bond." Her eyes seemed to grow even wider before smiling dreamily. 

"Then yes, I would love to join your pack." I shifted back into my wolf and Regina did the same, Thomas and I led her to the pack house where I had Raider waiting, he took her to her new room while Thomas and I went home to prepare for our busy day. 

We shifted on the back porch and slipped on our robes before walking up to our shower. Thomas got in first taking his robe off normally, I made him watch as I slipped mine off while doing a little dance. One I was naked Thomas walked out of the shower and pressed his lips to mine and backed me over to the sink.

"Tommy?" I asked as he washed my back.

"Why don't we talk about our future anymore?" He stopped washing me and spun me to face him, he looked confused then guilty. 

"You remember that talk I had with Samuel?" I nodded in response. "That day Samuel told me about my heightened s*x drive and I kinda freaked out. I thought that if we continued to talk about the things we wanted in the future like pups and marriage, I wouldn't be able to stop myself from making you all mine before you turned 18 and we found out if you were mine to take." I took the washcloth and washed his chest as he spoke, I kissed his adams apple as it bobbed up and down. When he was done talking I looked up at him and put left hand on his chest and rubbed his cheek with my right thumb. 

"I really hope you want pups seeing as I've been filled up more than a few times." I said with a smile. He gave me a huge smile before placing a long kiss on my lips. 

"I can't wait for our little family to begin growing Maya." He said placing his hand on my belly. We finished showering while we talked about all of the things Tommy wanted us to have in the future. I smiled and played with his chest hairs as he spoke, he had never sounded this happy while he lived in this pack and I was loving the change seeing as we would be living here for a long time. 

.............Time jump..............

"What about this one?" I asked walking out of the changing room. I was trying on dresses for the Alpha/Luna ceremony, Lenny and Raider were with me while Xavier and Christian were with Thomas who was getting a suit. I stepped out of the dressing room in the lavender colored dress, the plunging neckline would give Thomas a great view of my cleavage and the rest of the males an astounding view of my mark. The dress was made from a light chiffon fabric, the top was tight fitting, hugging my chest and stomach just right. The skirt went all the way down to the floor hanging loosely, there was a slit in the right side that nearly reached my hip.

"Yaaaaaas, queen!" Lenny said bowing. 

"Ye' look spectacular Maya." Raider praised. "I think this is the one." I smiled and went back into the changing room and slipped out of the dress and pulled on my black palazzo pants and red plaid one shoulder crop top along with my all black converse. I slipped the dress back on the hanger and brought it to the sales clerk who rung it up. I paid for the dress and handed it to Raider then rushed to the salon across the street for my hair appointment. I had my waist length hair cut to my mid back and the tips dyed the same color as my new dress. The woman doing my hair curled it and pulled a few strands back around my head placing little baby's breath flowers in random spots before dousing it in hairspray. I smiled and left the salon and was driven home. Raider and Xavier made a huge deal about Thomas and I not seeing one another until the ceremony. Seeing as they were so adamant we separated them, which they were pissed about. 

I sighed as we got back to the house, I ran up to my bathroom and checked my hair, pleased that it hadn't gotten knocked around during the car ride I began applying make-up. Foundation, highlights, mascara, lavender and violet eyeshadow. Winged eyeliner on my lid and a little lining my lower lid, I added a light pink peach color to my lips and went into my bed room and found the dress on the bed with a pair of matching heels from my closet. I stripped and went into my closet and grabbed a purple thong before going to the dress and slipping it over my body. Even though I was tall for a woman ( 5 ft 9) the dress pooled around my feet. 

I slid on the inch high sling-back heels and cautiously walked down the stairs to the living room where Len and Raider were waiting on the couch talking about how my brother and Christian had to return to the school the next day. They looked up at me and Raider let out an appreciative whistle before taking my left arm. I took Len's left hand in my right and we walked out to Raider's car and drove to the pack house. I played with the golden heart that was around my neck as we walked to the large white tent that was set up for the ceremony. My nerves faded when I saw Thomas chatting with Xavier and Christian, he looked sexy AF in his lavender button up shirt that was hidden under a silky dark grey vest, his sleeves were rolled up to his mid forearms and I nearly creamed right there. His dark blonde hair was combed and fluffy, his brown eyes shined with amusement, but quickly went dark with lust when he saw me. 

His dark grey pants, matched his vest and the tie around his neck ,struggled to hide Thomas Jr, as he reared his massive head. Thomas closed his eyes and scrunched his face up and Jr shrank back, I walked over to him and he relaxed before sighing and opening his eyes. 

"You look incredible Angel." He said leaning down and nipping my ear lobe. "Though the thought of men seeing that much of MY breasts is pissing Deimos off."

"Then they should also get a look at the mark I share with my mate that is on full display." I responded before kissing his cheek.

"Alright you two....we have a ceremony to do so don't strip and f**k here." Christian growled before storming into the tent. The rest of the guys followed him then Thomas and I entered, we walked to the front of the crowd while the guys sat in the front row of seats and waited for councilman Mason to begin the ceremony. 

"Good evening Wandering Moon." Mason said. "Today is a good day. Today your Luna Maya finally gets to take her place as one half of the pair who will lead this pack." The pack clapped before Mason turned to Thomas and I who had our hands interlocked between us. "Seeing as both Thomas and Maya are originally from this pack neither of them need to drink the wolfsbane cocktail."

"Yes councilman." My pack agreed. 

"Let's begin." Mason grabbed my left hand which was the one not interlocked with Tommy's. He slit my palm open with a dagger and had me bleed into a gold coated ceremonial chalice, once I was healed the same was done to Thomas. 

"Councilman Mason before we say the vows, Maya and I wish to inform you of a decision we made last night." Thomas said loud enough for the entire pack to hear. 

"What would that be?" He asked surprised. 

"I believe it's time for Wandering Moon to cease existing." I said firmly, the pack gasped and hissed at me while Mason tilted his head in confusion. "My mate was abused in Wandering Moon, I will not have those horrid memories hanging over us every time we hear or say the name of our pack, therefore from this day forth our pack will be called.."I said looking up at Thomas. 

"Jade Sky." Thomas said smiling down at me.
