(Sydney’s POV)
I try to scream and yell as a cold hand covers my mouth from behind and drags me away. I kick and scream and flail my hands around when suddenly I feel my head being slammed against a wall.
“Quit squirming wolf.” He spews. The painful blow causing my eyesight to blur. This calms me down for a minute as my perpetrator finally releases his grip on my mouth and throws me over his shoulder. I still don’t see his face as now I’m hanging over his shoulder looking at the ground. A loud explosion sounds and I see the left wing of the pack house where the dinner party was being held go up in flame.
“Fight back!” Star yells in my head. But I’m overcome with fatigue. I shut my eyes and suddenly I can see star’s eyes staring back at me.
