(Sydney’s POV) The steady beeping of the heart monitor in my room at the pack hospital keeps me up. I look over at Oliver who is sound asleep in the reclining chair the nurses brought in for him. My mom says he’s been here everyday and hasn’t slept. He’s been worried sick about me. I think to myself. I turn over on my side trying to find a comfortable position to fall back asleep. But honestly I’m not tired. I stare at my iv bag. Each drip becoming louder and louder. The room starts to feel so small. I’m suddenly sweating as if I’m in a sauna. I look at the clock on the wall. It’s Two AM. I need to get out of here for a little while. I try to get up but am restricted by the IV in my arm.
