(Three days Later)
(Oliver’s POV)
I’ve called a meeting in my office with only the guys this time.
“What’s this about Oliver?” Jaxon asks.
“I’ve heard back from Jarad. He went to Hawaii and the guide who took us up the mountain to the Blue Star Lagoon was able to take him up there. He met with Aleiah’s mother. Aleiah did in fact reject Oscar.” I tell them. They all frown.
“Was she really that insecure that she thought he wanted Ivy?” Jaxon asks.
“I don’t think so. Her mother said she was hurt badly and under some kind of hypnosis when she returned to the Lagoon.” I tell them. The thought of us being under attack by another group of enemies and supernatural ones at that sends my head in a spiral.
“So it’s true?” Jax says.
“What?” I ask. Jax falls quiet like he’s holding himself
