Kaitlin’s POV
“Now, OBEY,” Lodi commanded, and I shuddered involuntarily and I looked back into his eyes and glared.
“I SAID, OBEY!” He roared at me and this time I dropped to my knees shaking and slumped over like I was bowing to him. Every inch of my being was raging under my skin. Even acting like I belonged to him was making me sick to my stomach. I wanted my wolf but she was still not answering me.
His laughter filled the silence between us, and I felt the shield drop. I knew I had to wait to kill him, but for how long? I wanted to rip his heart out of his chest for everything he had done. I listened as his footsteps fell over the grass and he paused, still just out of my reach.
