All day, since we stepped foot onto Daddy’s jet, Dakota has been ignoring me. I was irritated at first and tried to make sure that he had no reason to pine after his ex-mate and leave me looking stupid. I am not so sure I made myself feel better about it. I have been trying to get an Alpha for my own for so long, since my dad wouldn’t let me have the pack. I guess you could say that I am settling for Dakota since no one has followed through.
