Cassie’s POV
Because of Dakota’s lack of initiative, we are one of the last people to enter, which means we are literally at the end of the table. I am forced to sit next to Ryan as I refuse to sit next to Christopher. Avoiding his gaze is easier than being near him. So, I forced Dakota to sit next to him.
Ryan turns his body so I am shut out of any conversation. I can’t believe the way things are going. I glared at Kaitlin again. This is all her fault. The waiter started talking and I was so pissed off I couldn’t hear what he said. I realize he just wants to take everyone’s drink order which I am very grateful for. I need more than one!
