Soft murmurs echoed around the massive chamber. Almost every seat was occupied. The doors behind the largest chair opened and out walked an imposing figure draped in white cloth and gold embellishments. Behind him an elegant female with a wicked gleam in her eyes stalked towards the smaller chair on his left.
Each chair was exquisitely detailed and individualized for its owner. The voices lowered as the man walked around greeting those closest to him. The voices picked up a little more and snippets could be heard from the far reaches of the circular chamber.
