I pushed Lodi back further and further from the pits and he started laughing manically again after missing several cheap shots. “So, you killed my son?” I snarled at him, “Well, even if you didn’t, he just got dosed with another round of my newest creation and he will rip you to shreds. Since the gas had no effect on you, you are useless to me.” He laughs again, “It will kill any regular wolf. I made it special for my errant son. I had high hopes for controlling two Lycans. I would be unstoppable.”
I lunged for him, but Lodi was fast despite his dark aura no longer humming in his veins. His hits were all in the places protected by my armor and I heaved out sighs of relief, knowing that his potential wounds would have been devastating injuries to me.
