“Kota, we need to move. We are behind schedule,” Chandler said nervously, and I gripped the wheel harder. “I know Chan!” I said harshly through gritted teeth. It was my fault we missed the turn off and it cost us 20 minutes of time to find a place for us to turn around. Who puts an airfield in the middle of a mountain range?
Finally, I could see the outline of a giant plane and my stomach sank. I know of one pack that has a plane large enough for over 100 wolves and it was about to get real. I stayed silent as we parked and I could see an extremely angry Alpha storming over. I took a deep breath and got out of the truck.
