Kaitlin’s POV
I was ready for his attack but seeing we were in his lab, I was going to need to handle this very, very carefully. He lunged forward and I decided to duck and roll underneath him rather than take him head on like I had planned. He knocked over some equipment and cursed.
Lodi snarled, and I was on my feet before he could turn in the small space he created around himself.
“The bïtch has some tricks I see.” He snarled at me, and I smiled. He was trying to distract me but the anger in my veins was firmly in check. This was just between me and him now.
