Ben’s POV
The army that charged us smelled and felt so-so wrong. I locked eyes with Ryan, and he felt it too. “BE READY!” I roared at the gathered allied army lines. Everyone was in position and the lines and new unit groups were ready.
A sharp dull ache rang through my head, “RIP OUT AND EAT THEIR HEARTS!” Evelyn’s voice rang through what looked like everyone’s mind at the same time and, as the pain dulled, the sounds of bodies colliding sounded.
I lunged into the chaos of battle once more. Ripping hearts out was easier as chests were left more open than throats. I didn’t pause to think as I ripped and swallowed hearts practically whole. At least Fenris the bloody beast was enjoying himself.
