Couldn't someone answer the freaking door? God, I didn't want to wake up. I just wanted to sleep all day and I just got my period dang it. I checked my phone and it's 12 noon already. I got up from my bed and opened the door without even looking at the person who knocked on my door.
"Ahhm you looked bad." as soon as I heard the voice, I panicked. I didn't know what to do. I immediately shot the door closed and looked at the peephole. This is very embarrassing. How did he know my address? I don't remember giving it to anybody except Monica. I washed my face and brushed my hair.
"Hi." I awkwardly opened the door and he just smiled handsomely at me, I might fall.
" That's better," he said. "So, Monica, give me your address. She told me that this one is very important to you and you left it yesterday at the wedding. She's kinda busy so she asked me to give it to you."
Damn you Monica! She's never been busy, she's a daughter of a billionaire. I looked at the item he is mentioning that is very important to me. I shut my eyes as I saw it and I shoved my palm into my face. Monica really got some nerves doing this for me,
I awkwardly smiled and slowly got my I.d. " ahhm really sorry Luke for the trouble, you came all the way here just to drop this thing off." I said kindly
"Nah, actually I also live in this subdivision, 2 blocks away from your house.
"Wait? What? Really?" I exclaimed. Whoa! This is really destiny. I got excited and asked him when he moved in. It was 2 weeks since he moved in. " So your working at an accounting firm?" he asked.
I nodded and realized as well that we'd been having a conversation outside. I forgot to invite him inside.
"sorry, you wanna come inside?" He widened his eyes like he had been waiting for me to say it. "Wow. Thought you would never ask." He blurted out, I opened the door widely to invite him over.
