Business to Address

I waited in the throne room for everyone to return back from searching for me. I didn't think they would rush off after me, I guess having two mates that are born leaders, one Alpha, one King means that I have two over protective mates.

My question lies with why did the King and Queen of the Peri Kingdom come too? Am I that important now, that even royalty helps in the searches for me? Is it because I am the Phoenix Wolf? possibly but something is telling me that it is much bigger than that.

I jumped at the doors bursting open, in came my Mates and the King and Queen of the Peri Kingdom. Everyone seems relieved to see me standing here uninjured but that didn't stop my Mates from checking me over and then the questions came.

"Are you hurt?" Augustus asked

"Do I need to call one of the doctors?" King Barot asked right after

"Do you need anything? Talk to me." Augustus again as he placed a strain of hair behind my ear.

"Just say the word, You'll have it" King Barot added

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Thank you" I blushed and smiled at them both. Augustus kissed my hand and the King kissed my forehead. "Thank you for being here when I need you" And they nodded. The moment was interrupted by the King of Peri Kingdom clearing his throat.

"Such a touching moment but there are still things that need to be addressed." He politely said , looking between the three of us.

"Yes, of course. I think we need to go somewhere we all can sit and talk." Augustus said to the King Peri but looked at King Barot.

"I have a meeting room a little ways down, follow me and we can continue whatever there." Everyone nodded and walked out the throne room.

My heart was racing at a million miles and I had no clue why. I mean what else is there to talk about? what is the King of Peri referring to when he said there's things to still address? What is there to address? I thought everything has been solved since the battle between the two Kingdoms was stopped.

Augustus must have sensed my distress because he grabbed my hand gently. He started to rub it with his thumb and it helped me calm down a lot. I was happy he was there because I had no clue what was going on.

King Barot stopped at a pair of white doors with a golden trim and opened it as he gested for everyone to go in. He saw Augustus holding my hand and he immediately grabbed the other. I don't know what's going on with them but this competition stuff has to stop.

*FLORA*

"Ron, stay focused" I yelled rubbing my temples. He was getting on my last nerves with his crying.

"How can I stay focus Flora ? When he outed me to Edrea. and then" He whimpers

"So what? Who is she to do anything?" I growled interrupting his rant and he flinched at my words

"She is the Phoenix Wolf and on top of that she is mated to your brother who happens to our future alpha." He whines

"She's also mates with the Bear King." I said nonchalantly and he stiffened

"Wha, What?" He studders "I'm really dead, I'm not just dead, I'm a ghost. I will die over and over again when they get their hands on me." He gulps

"That's why we still have things to address as a team. It is important for you to help me expose her, possibly kill her if need be. " I pointed out

"Are you insane? I'm not helping you, I'm in enough trouble as is." He shot up out the chair he's been sitting in across from my desk.

"No, I'm determined to get her out of the way" I shot up too, over powering him. He whimpers back and bows his head "She don't deserve those gifts, I do! and when I prove it, I will take them for myself and become the most powerful Wolf alive." I said standing tall and confident.

"I don't think you can take what the gifts that was given to another. Only the God who gives them can take them."

"Shut up fool. I will find a way"

"If you say so, Flora. I will help you but I don't think.."

" Don't think Ron" I cut him off "but Mark these words Ron, I will have it all." I said before I dismissed him.

I sat back in my chair looking out the huge window that looked out into the end of the garden and the starting of the pool/patio area. Loving how the pool water sparkles at night under the moon light. It relaxes me.

I sigh thinking about ways to extract my plan. I have no clue what I'm going to do but I know I will do whatever to take the Alpha position from my brother. Yeah, I smiled wickedly, this isn't only about Edrea!
