"Edrea" that's my name. I looked at Lana and she looked at me, rolling her eyes.

"Yes, Flora." I said slowly but irritated, turning around. She was wearing a short pink dress with white wedges. She has a crown on her head and her blonde hair dances in loose curls. Though the silver streak grazed the left side of her face stayed straight.

Her minions, who are twins named Shelly and Kelly, were dressed the same but in purple dresses and black wedges. I could've busted out laughing but I bit my lip, holding my composer.

"Don't speak to me in that tone or I will have you locked away in the cells." She yelled in my face. Her and her friends got closer and Lana came to my side.

I usually hold my tongue but today might be the day she got it. "You look ugly.. as always." Kelly says making Flora and Shelly chuckle and mug me.

"Who helped you pick this outfit out? Your mom?" Shelly finished. That was it!

As I was about to respond the most delicious smell hit my nose. I instantly forgot about them and turned around to meet the eyes of the next Alpha in line, Augustus. He was 6'5 as I stood at 5'4, he is more muscular and his curly brown hair is slicked back into a man bun, making his golden green eyes stand out even more.

I walked Like an Alpha, Like a King!. He's been away with training for 5 years now. At least that's what they were telling us. "Mate" My wolf growled and my breath hitch in my throat, realizing what that meant. My Mate is the next Alpha in line. How was I to be the next Luna? I stared at him, trying to mask my fear from him.

He was frozen in place, just as I was. Staring at me with those beautiful golden green eyes. My heart was beating 10 thousand miles a minute, I'm sure he can hear it.

"I'm talking to you!" She yelled at my back but I didn't respond as I was caught in a trance. "You B***H" Flora was about to smack me but his voice stopped her in her tracks.

"That's enough!" He said with such power, she didn't have a choice but to summit and whimper back, bowing in submission to him. Lana and I stood in place, I wasn't fazed by his Alpha aura. Why? I have no clue but the only thing I could focus on was how wet my pearl became.

"What?. Are you serious?." She yelled. Her voice is so irritating, high pitch and squeaky. "You should have her locked up."

"No" Was all he said as he smelled the air and grabbed my hand. Leading me to goddess knows where.

*AUGUSTUS*

I was leaving my office when the most delicious smell hit my nose. It was so intoxicating, It smelled of mixed fruits. My mouth drooled and my d**k hardened. I needed to find the source for this delicious smell.

"Mate" my wolf growled.

I immediately rushed towards the door, not even questioning my wolf. I dreamed of the day I could finally embrace my Mate. It's been 5 years since I turned 18 and I thought I was going to find my Mate that same day but no, I am still unmated.

My father won't even give me the Alpha position until I find my Mate or when I turn 25. I was only 23 and waiting two more years is embarrassing. I mean all the other packs Alpha's turned over the title right when their heir turned 18. Mate or Unmated but my father says that it's better this way.

We are the Gifted Moon Pack, strongest in the lands. The keeper of the healing waters and the closest to the Royal Kingdom. The King and Queen loves me and always says they wish they had me as a son.

I turned the corner to the stairway. She was getting closer. I came to the middle of the staircase and saw her back, while she faced my sister Flora. I ran my eyes down her body. Her ass is lush and round in those jean shorts, her curves are in all the right places and her legs. f**k, I was getting harder. Eager to get to my goddess mate. I made it to the bottom of the staircase and that's when she noticed me.

She turned and we locked eyes, my heart, the whole world fell apart. Her??...I was confused but still couldn't stop looking into her beautiful purple eyes.

"Mate is so beautiful" My wolf looked at her with so much adoration.

"Not now Xlo" I growled in my head

"Fine but you better not reject Mate" He said as he retreated.

Flora was yelling at her but her eyes were locked on me like she was in a trance. I couldn't blame her because I was too but I couldn't accept an Omega. She would only bring weakness to the pack. I needed a stronger, more fitted Luna to run this pack with me.

"You B***H" Was all I heard before I saw Flora about to smack her.

"That's enough!" I let my aura out. I couldn't just let her hit my Mate. Though she's just an omega wolf. She's still a part of my pack.

"She may be something more. Please don't reject Mate, The moon goddess doesn't make mistakes. I feel there is more to her than you see on the outside. Though her outside is quite nice." My wolf intervened once again, licking his lips.

I rolled my eyes at my wolf plea as Flora said something about locking her up in the pack cells. I immediately became defensive. Nobody punishes my Mate but me. Though mine will be more pleasurable.

"No" I plainly said, smelling the air at the delicious smell of my Mate reaction to my authority. I grabbed my Mates hand as I led her to the packs hidden garden to talk.

I really don't know why the moon goddess paired me with a weak Luna. I would have to reject her and choose a more suitable fit to hold the Luna title but then again. How could I reject those beautiful purple eyes? I signed feeling defeated, I will listen to my wolf. He has never stirred me wrong. I would give it till after the ceremony, I will make a decision then.

"Yeah we will see about that." My wolf chimed in, I scoffed at his remark.

I looked back to see the friend that was with my Mate mouth drop open. I looked at my sister, whose face was beaten red. I knew she would go tell father but I could care less. I have more pressing matters to attend to.
