A Mystery

*FLORA*

How could he stop me from teaching that lousy omega a lesson. I hate her with every being of my soul. She's good at everything. She always on the honer roll, She's top notch in training and now she gotten the attention of my brother. If she thinks shes going to work her little hands into becoming Luna. She has another thing coming. I will have her in the pack cells after I turn into the Phoenix Wolf. It would be the perfect day to get her out of my way, for good.

I stormed up the stairs and into my father's office. Not bothering to knock, it's not like he's doing anything at the moment but stupid pack stuff.

"PAPA!" I broke down crying. He immediately looked up from his desk, jumping to his feet and rushing to me. Seeing that I am upset, his first instinct is to comfort me.

"There, there my princess. Stop crying, tell papa what is wrong. Who has my princess in tears?"

"Papa, It's this dumb omega named Edrea Patterson who thinks she's better than everyone else. I hate her because shes always messing with me" I lied and my father's chest went stiff. "Father? Are you ok?"

"Bring the girl to me." He murmured

"Father?! but.." I whined, stomping my foot like a child.

"No buts Flora. I said what I said." His usual sweet talk turned into irritation. I was shocked my father would speak to me like that, especially over a dumb omega. My eyes watered and I tell he regreted raising his voice at me. I turned and ran out the door with him yelling after me.

I wanted to be alone. Why do everyone keep defending her? Why did my father get angry? What do she have over my family? There's something I don't know, I can feel it but I will soon find out. I know who might have some answers.. that stupid servant, the packs gossiper and I know just how to get it out of her.

I ran to my room, searching for the one object I know she will spill everything for. I rampaged through everything. Where is it? I went through some boxes in my closet. "There you are" I smiled a wicked smile as I held up a ruby red necklace.

*LANA*

Well that went a completely different way than I expected. My wolf had showed me glimpses of today as we can see into the future. I seen the young to be Alpha, Edrea, Flora and I but I thought that he was going to be against us. Not with us.

My wolf danced with delight when Augustus took Edrea's hand. I know I am happy for my friend but I think my wolf is taking it overboard. I stood there dumbfounded as I watched them disappear through some doors I've never noticed before.

"Ugg, that w***e" Flora stormed off with her minions following behind her but she ran off, leaving them. I laughed to myself as I made my way to the pack woods. Deciding to take that Free day. I started following a path I've created.

Trying to figure out why I kept coming to the one particular spot. Thinking about the past 5 months that I've been sleep walking. Someone kept calling me. When I follow the voice and I reach a certain spot, the voice disappears and I wake it.

I sometimes have dreams of a man attached to the voice. A man with dark blue smoke surrounding him. He looks like a God with his unnaturally smooth hair, dancing around him as it blends in with the color of his magic. A insane tattoo sits on his chest, it looks like a wolf with a blue diamond centered at it's forehead. He reaches out to me and I reach back but everytime we are to touch, I wake up. Covered in sweat as I lay in the forest, in the same spot every time. I walk home bare foot and cold back to my house. I take a shower and just lay on my bed. Waiting for the time I have to get up for school, unable to fall back to sleep.

I reached the spot that I always end up at, it's only a 15 minute walk from the pack house. I bend down at the spot and recognize something carved in the ground. I remove the leaves away from the symbol and fall back. Recognizing the symbol on the man from my dream. Was this here the whole time?

I immediately shoot up and ran back to my house where I needed to find a book. The very book that was gifted to me by grand mother, past down from generation to generation and my parents kept it hidden from me. The book that will give me answers to this mystery. I ran home as fast as I could, bursting through the door. Happy my parents are off doing pack business with the city council. My mother is the head secretary and my father is head security for the council. They travel a lot and so I am home by myself most of the time.

I reached my room and stopped to catch my breath. When I entered I went straight to my bed. Pulling the book from under my mattress. I know I need a different hiding spot but this would have to due for now. I sat on my bed, sitting the book next to me. I slowly flipped through the pages as some of them are very worn out. I came to the symbol and immediately recognized it.

I started to read the text but most of it was in symbols I barely had any training on before gran gran died and a language I can't understand. I took a pen and paper and started to write out what I do understand. So far I only got that the symbol belonged to Malador and the one he calls is... something. I don't understand the rest.

*AUGUSTUS*

She is so beautiful, I looked her in her eyes as I caressed her cheek. She looked away but I turned her face towards me. "Don't look away from me" I said and she bit her bottom lip. I instantly pulled her in, wanting to kiss her lips. I then sat down and pulled her onto my lap. I caressed her bottom. "May I?" She nodded yes and I started to pull her closer.

"SIR!!!" My sister guard who is actually a top warrior of the Kingdom shouted entering the garden area. I growled, irritated at the interruption. I took Edrea off my lap, missing her touch already. I can feel her look at me as I move her to the side. I got up but not before kissing her temple. She sat there for a few seconds longer but then I heard her walk off some. I walked up to the young warrior trying to keep my wolf from coming out. He was overly furious about being interrupted and I can't say that I don't feel the same. We have waited long enough to find our Mate and the closer I am to her the less i want to regret her. The warrior saw my inner battle and became startled. "Um, Alpha Flora demands... to see you.. Alpha" He bowed realizing who Flora sent him to get.

"And you thought coming in like that was the proper way of getting my attention." I growled and he flinched

"She... She said it was.. urgent, Alpha." He bowed his head even lower. I motioned for him to rise so I could see his face fully.

"What is your name?" I asked him

"My name is Marcos. Sir. Sorry I did not realize Flora sent me to get you Sir. She just gave me directions to the garden" He quickly said

"It doesn't matter what rank another is. You treat them with respect." I said to him with my alpha aura, so he can get it through his thick head.

Even though I do not hold the title of Alpha yet, I was born an Alpha so it comes with the territory. He seems like a good warrior and so I would spare him. "Yes Sir" He steps back and bows once more. I relaxed, letting my Alpha aura die down.

"Where are you from?" But before he could answer Edrea came into view and pushed me to the side.

"Marcos!" She screamed as she embraced him. He embraced her back and the whole scene made my blood boil. No body should be touching my Mate but me. They released each other and Edrea stepped back into me. Calming my inner wolf with her touch.

"Edrea, how are you? I missed you? why are you here?" He rushed her with questions. I didn't want to stand here for this so I kissed Edrea on the cheek, giving him that look letting him know she's my Mate. I turn to her telling her I'll be back as I walk to my sister's room.

When I got there,

I couldn't believe what I was witnessing.
