Marie thought she was just a normal werewolf training to be a warrior in the pack of New Moon, that is until the moon goddess started visiting in her dreams. At first Marie blew it off thinking that she wasn't worth the moon goddesses time so why would she come to her of all people? She wasn't special, she had no title. Thinking that everyone would call her crazy , she kept her dreams to herself. It wasn't until one night before the warrior finals that all hell broke loose in the pack. it was a full blown rogue attack and Marie was having deja' vu. Marie went after the rogues, following them to a open field, she realized that she was outnumbered 10 to 1. Thunder started booming as lightning struck down in the middle of the field killing the rogues instantly. Marie stood there shocked, trying to figure out what had just happened. Lightning then struck again, Marie blacked out from pain and woke in the hospital the next day with her life completely changed from then on. Marie must prepare for all the challenges she is about to face from meeting her mate, to finding the others that are now like her and prepare all packs for the war that will be coming their way.. Will she lead everyone to victory or will she crack under the pressure that the moon goddess has put on her shoulders?

The Beginning
Marie POV: I untuck my head from the pillow because I know my alarm is about to start blaring any minute. Even after going to bed early last night, I still feel like I haven't gotten enough sleep. I sit up in my bed and as soon as I do my bedroom door gets thrown open by my older brother Alex, he must have thought he was slick but I was prepared for this to happen this morning. Last night, I moved my dresser behind my door, so when he flung the door open to scare me, the door hit the dresser and flings back hitting him in the face! Talk about being dramatic, He falls to the ground holding his face in his hands, claiming I broke his nose. I instantly went into a laughing fit, holding my stomach and tears sliding down my face. "You-you are such an i***t!" I can hardly breathe to finish my sentence as Alex quickly gets up from the floor running to jump on me while I'm still struggling to breathe. I manage to roll off my bed on to the floor hurting my ass in the process. Alex yells, "I'm gonna get you Marie!" I scream and crawl across my floor, I get up quickly once I hit the doorway and run down the hall. I can hear him gaining on me, his feet hitting the wooden floors are so loud! He starts yelling behind me, "You better run faster little sis, I almost got you!". I make it to the stairwell and start taking the steps down 3 or 4 at a time hoping that I can beat him before he gets me. I turn around once I get to the main level of the house and look up the stairs to see if he is still behind me, I don't see him at all, I wondered when I even stopped hearing his heavy feet behind while running. I let out a breath and turn around, only to turn right into my brothers chest. I slowly look up at him and see that he is smiling victoriously. Before I can even scream for my parents, he throws me over his shoulder and starts walking to the kitchen. "Let me go Alex!" "MOM!!!" "Alex is man handling me again!" I'm kicking my feet in the air and smacking his butt. "You better stop smacking my butt before I fart in your face, you really won't like that lil sis, I had tacos last night!" he starts laughing hysterically as I yell that he better not do that to me or I was going to throw up on him. We finally make it to the kitchen and he throws me on the floor in front of parents who are cracking up at us. I start rubbing my butt and my mom and dad both tell us to sit down because they need to talk to us about the training as we eat breakfast. Walking to the table I pull out my seat to sit down. Mom already had everyone's plates ready but she put extra bacon on mine. I smile up at her and she winks at me, while my brother growls because I have more than he does. I stick my tongue out at him before my dad clears his throat to speak. "So, Today is Marie's first day of training for becoming a pack warrior. I expect you to watch out for your little sister today, Alex." We both sigh and roll our eyes because I have been training for years with Alex and dad secretly, yet he still wants Alex to protect me like I'm some little girl. Dad knows that I can kick some ass, I beat up Alex all the time. My dad used to be the Gamma of our pack and now my brother is. Our pack consists of 5 levels, Alpha/Luna who are the first in command, their job is to run the pack. Beta's are second in command, they help the alpha with paperwork and can also lead the pack in the absence of the alpha. Gamma's are third in command, they lead the warriors and make patrol decisions. Warriors are next in line, though they technically aren't a title they are above Omega's in rank. We aren't like other packs who treat their omega's badly, they are given full opportunity to grow within the pack just like everyone else. My dad retired last year, he claimed that he was getting to old to keep up with the warriors but I know he just wanted to spend more time with mom. Alex is tough but I think he mainly got that position because he is friends with the beta and alpha's sons. All 3 of them are man whores in my opinion. Alex tells me all the time that I don't know what I'm talking about and that his friends aren't man whores. I always argue back saying that he is obviously lying because they have a different girl hanging on them every week and he just tells me that doesn't prove anything. I hear someone clear their throat and I instantly snap out of my thoughts when my mom is looking at me with her hands on her hips. "Is there something wrong with your breakfast, Marie? You just keep looking down at your plate but you have yet to touch anything." Are you getting nervous about training with other people?" I love my mom, she is protective but at least she knows boundaries. Must be a girl thing . "Oh uh, No mom. I was just deep in thought." She shrugs her shoulders and goes back to cleaning up the kitchen when my brother nudges me and says "Don't think to much, I wouldn't want you to hurt your brain." I growl at him and my dad chuckles at us. He thinks our relationship is funny because he was an only child so he never got to experience the whole sibling thing. He doesn't realize how lucky he was sometimes. I get up from the table and put my dishes in the sink. I give my mom a big hug and tell her thank you then I run to give my dad a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you guys later after training, I might bring Micah back with me if that's okay?" My dad just shrugs his shoulders while my mom tells me that it was fine. My brother just gave me a funny look then shook his head before walking out of the door to go to the training field. I wonder if he has a problem with Micah? I mean, I wouldn't think so because Micah has been in my life since we were born. Our dads are best friends. My dad was the Gamma and his dad was the Beta. His dad just recently retired and Micah's older brother Dylan took over as Beta. I've been secretly in love with Micah since I was 13, I know that we are just suppose to be friends but a girl can dream, right? Maybe Micah will show up for warrior training and we can pair up. I really hope so anyway, but I guess I will see when everyone gets there.
