The Dreams

After playing Mario Kart with the boys for hours and eating all of the food in the house, we all decided to call it a night. Micah decided he was going to stay the night after all and so did Dylan. Micah will stay in my room like he usually does. Our parents never really cared that we had sleep overs with each other because we've been doing that since we were 3. Micah also thought it was a good idea because in his words,"He didnt want to be tempted by Alex and wants to wait until his birthday like me so he can feel the full affect." Tomorrow we decided that all of us would all go to the library after training. As Micah and I got ready for bed he decided to sleep on my pillowed bench in front of the window so Alex wouldn't get jealous of him being in bed with me. I didn't think of asking Dylan if he got jealous, but considering all wolves are territorial, I would assume that he does.

I'm having a hard time falling asleep, tossing and turning. All I keep thinking about is how the day played out, I mean it was indeed a very interesting and dramatic day. I don't get how Micah can be over there sleeping like a baby after everything. My mind just won't stop replaying over all of the conversations but there is one that I keep getting stuck on. Why didn't the Alpha command work on Dylan and Alex? Could something be wrong with the Alpha and he isn't telling anyone? An Alpha command is law, no one can get out of it unless 1. Someone outranks the Alpha like the Werewolf King or the Goddess herself. 2. Witches are involved. 3. The Alpha is too weak to ensure the command sticks. Obviously the first and second dont work in this situation because Alex and Dylan are not of higher rank than the Alpha and because they dont have any ties with witches. Not that we have problems with witches or anything, our Aunt Viv married a warlock named Lucien but he doesn't do that kind of magic because its forbidden.Witches could get in serious trouble with their covens for using magic that interfers with other species heirarchy or way of life. We have treaties with the 4 main covens in this area. The third option seems more likely although I would hate to think that something is wrong with the Alpha. I may be mad at him for what he plans to do but I don't wish any real harm to him, plus it would be really bad if other rival packs found out that he is weakening. Tomorrow, I hope we find answers and not have more questions.

After 2 hours my brain finally decides to give up and I can feel myself falling asleep. I open my eyes and I'm in the woods, I feel relaxed. All of my senses are heightened. I can smell the honeysuckles,hear the flow of water in the distance, and see the squirrels jumping from tree to tree. I'm so entranced with this place that I didn't even notice someone walking up to me until they were right on me. I jumped back and got in my fighting stance until I realized that it was Dylan standing in front of me with a goofy smile on his face, you could tell he was trying to stifle a laugh. "Oh no! Don't attack little ol' me, Marie", he tries to say in a fake southern womans accent while holding up his hands like he's surrendering. Playfully I rolled my eyes at him and said,"Goddess knows I wouldn't want to embarrass you right now by beating you up before training tomorrow. Your dad would never let you live it down if both of his sons was whooped by me everyday." This time he does laugh out loud,"You got that right! He already gives Micah s**t for it everytime he comes home after training sporting a new black eye or busted lip. If you really want to challenge me though, I will be happy to accept during training tomorrow." This makes me grin, I love a challenge even more when its from someone of higher rank. I've never fought Dylan before, only my brother,dad and Micah. As much as I would love to challenge him, I don't think it would be wise right now with everything going on. It would draw to much attention to us. "As much as I would love to challenge you and WIN, it would not be wise for us to do that at training with eachother. We need to keep with the plan that we do not associate with eachother until we figure this out. I don't want to make anyone suspicious, so I will take a rain check on your ass whooping." Looking completely smug, Dylan walks up to me and interlocks our fingers. We start walking around exploring the forest and having small talk. When I turn to say something to him, he is no longer there but a woman is in his place. I look down and our fingers are interlocked just like mine and Dylan's were. "I see I was not who you were expecting.." I'm taken aback, this woman is beautiful with long silver hair to her waist, purple eyes, natural red full lips and she looks like she is in her 20's. We are about the same height and our bodies are slightly different, she has softer curves but is still very toned while I have more muscle due to working out all the time. "Um..I..well no, you were not who I was expecting because I was walking with my mate but then you were in his place instead. How did you do that?" This strange beautiful woman gives me a odd look before she smiles at me and says,"Normally I would play a game with you and make you guess who I am by giving you hints,but I don't have the time for that right now. I am Selene, Moon Goddess, The creator of werewolves and I know you very well Marie Justice Wentworth. I have listened to your prayers since you were 7 years old, I know everything about you and your wolf. I hand picked your wolf for you, You might not be able to speak to her yet but you will very soon, sooner than your birthday. We don't have much time darling so you must listen very carefully. Things are not as they seem in your pack, things are going to be happening and you need to be prepared. I have chosen you to be the leader of what is coming. I cannot go into many details right now but I will be visiting you again in your dreams." Selene starts looking around before saying,"Do NOT trust anyone unless your wolf says so. She will know best. I promise you will know everything very soon. I will see you again but now you must wake up!"
