Rose, she was as beautiful as the rose flower itself, her eyes were big, brown and beautiful, they glowed as I stared. " what do you see when you look into my eyes?" she asked " I see your love" I replied, pulling her into a tight embrace. Rose was the girl I wanted to spend eternity with, to love and to cherish. " You promise to forever be by my side, through sickness or in pain?" she asked, pulling away. she trotted to the swing and sat down. The breeze was sweet. I plucked a white rose and tucked it on her long blonde hair. " You're gorgeous" I said. She smiled, her smile was sweet and charming. Suddenly her smile faded and she frowned. " why do you love me? why?" she sobbed " I can't even give you a child and still you're loving and caring Dave... " she added, wiping the tears with the back of her hands. I knew it was not her fault that she couldn't give me a child. It was just normal. we were still young and could continue with the therapy but the fact that she was always guilty. she felt like it was her responsibility to bring forth a child into this world. " someone paid for the ice cream, she said you were adorable together and that's why she bought you the ice cream." I gazed at him, he didn't seem like an evil man at all. " I insist" "okay" he picked the notes and walked away. we watched him until he disappeared. " so kind of her" Rose licked the ice cream. " it's good " " very delicious " Suddenly, Rose fell to the ground. she couldn't breathe, she was having an allergic reaction. The ice cream had strawberries in it. I walked through the crowd. **** Rose pov The day was amazing, I wiped the counter and tables. The sweet aroma of the sweet delicacies cooked by Chef Dale filled the entire room. The room was decorated with red balloons and red flowers. " happy valentine Rose" Chef Dale greeted and handed me a muffin, I picked up and took a huge bite " mhh delicious. happy valentine day Dad." I said. Dave had decided to cut all ties with his wealthy family and live with me as husband and wife.
