I manage to pull him down before a bunch of arrows fly out from the walls around us. Ethan looks at me wide-eyed, aware he was a second away from dying.
“We have to stay down” I tell him. “I’m pretty sure those weren’t the only arrows. If we get up we might activate the mechanism again”
