After wandering through the tunnels for only a few minutes, I start hearing people screaming in the distance. The intricate layer of tunnels must have lead me away from them. There are many tunnels that lead to the Mermaid Cave. They must have gone a different way than me. I must have missed them by little.
However, the screams make me nervous. It’s true the tunnels are still collapsing, but the Academy students have been trained to deal with these situations after the first attack. They would not panic like this over tunnels breaking down.
Then, I remember the undead I have been encountering randomly while looking through the tunnels. I hope I am wrong.
