Entailed By A Mermaid

They say humans are only for humans. There is no room for fairy tales and love stories between a mermaid and a man... for they are different. Two creatures, two world. Will Marina finds her true love in Clark's presence? Does 'happily ever after' exist for the two? ________________________________________ -Marina's "Mom, what does it looks like outside the sea?" young Marina asked her mother, queen Amina. Every night, their mother always have time to read them bed time stories. "Outside the sea?!" Niña and Carolina both exclaimed. The two looked each other knowingly. They knew that their sister is referring to one of Mr. Lobster's Stories. "Why would you know about it, sweety?" Queen Amina was a bit stunned by her daughter's question. She always thought Marina was different from her siblings. Among her three daughters, Niña, Carolina and the youngest, Marina, was the most adventurous and wonders about everything. "Nothing mom, I just know that there is another world outside tha water. Mr Lobster tells alot of stories about his quests! He even told me that humans have feets and he saw them run, mom!" she exclaimed. Mr. Lobster's place is their favorite place to spend their leisure time. Right after class, they would go there and hear some interesting stories from the Lobster. He has stories about everything! The other day, they've heard about a big big ship that drops a big metal under the sea... "Fluffy! move faster. We're gonna be late for Mr. Lobster's stories" called Marina to her friend "Why would you like to hear his stories Marina? I'm sure that he is only playing with us! Have you seen all of the things he tells in his stories?" Fluffy asked. The puffer fish was never fond of the Lobster's stories, he thought that all of it were joke and just pure imagination. "Don't be a buzzkill Fluffy! I know it is all true. If you'll just use that imagination of yours, you can figure it out. Besides, I always dreamt of coming ashore! I think it is fun outside and seeing different things!" Marina said dreamingly. "oh no no no! We are so not gonna attend with that Lobster's place anymore, Marina. You are being influenced, Princess! You know that we are all prohibited to do that! What has gotten into you?" Fluffy asked panicking. The fish knows how stubborn Marina is. Judging her shining eyes right now, he knew one time, they will be in great trouble. " Ha-ha," Marina laughed mockingly "You over reacting puffer fish! I just said that I dreamt of doing one, but I didn' t say I'll do it though. I'm sure father will be mad" she laugh while imagining his father, King Hydor punishes her. "You better be Marina, because the last time you were punished to clean the whole hall because you played the magic ball, i was INCLUDED!!" he furiously recalled. She remembered that though, and even until now, she still remember how Fluffy scolded her for dragging him in her troubles. She always find it funny messing with her friend fish. Fluffy has always been like that. Even though he knows how trouble maker the Princess, his friend is, he still supports and go with here. They were friends since she can't remember! "Stop reminiscing Fluffy, let's just go. I wont get in trouble, I promise!" she swears. "Yeah right" he mocked. ...... "Do you want to hear the story of a ship?" asked Mr. Lobster. Marina as excited as ever first asked what it is. "Mr Lobster! what is a ship? Does it fly like an airplain like you used to tell?!" "Hahaha! silly girl. A ship is different from that airplain. The ship that I'm referring to, floats in the water." he said "Woah!!!" everybody exclaimed. "I wanna hear it" "Me too!" "Start it Mr. Lobster!" *click, clack, click Mr, Lobster made a sound through his clippers signing them to silence for he is about to start. "The ship sails every day time" he started. "They would go hunting bad fishes under the sea!" he exclaimed with terror. "Oh my!" the children said, horrified. "You heard me right, kiddos" said the old lobsters. "They would throw down nets to imprison all the fishes" "That wasn't nice Mister!" one of Marina's friends exclaimed. Mr. Lobster patted the boy and smiled. "Well, the world isn't really nice sometimes, kids. Many bad individuals are scattered everywhere, may be in our world, and even in human's" "Then are humans bad?" Marina asked softly "Now, now... little princess, are all mermaids and other creatures here incthe sea bad?" asked the wise old lobster. "No, Mister!" she said innocently. "Same as humans, there are people out there who have kind heart." From that day, little Marina believed that one day...she can be friend with a human..... "Listen to me kiddo," her mother gently patted her hair. "Humans are true. They live outside our world, the ocean, but they know nothing about us. Their knowledge ends about us, being a myth." Marina don't understand her mother. Why do they know about humans but the former don't? "But mom! if we introduce ourselves to them, maybe we can all be friends, right?" she innocently added. "Your father made rules here in Oceana to prohibit all the mermaids to come ashore and show up to humans. Don't worry Marina, when you grow up, you'll know our reasons." The queen said to dismiss the topic. "O-okay mom." "Good night kids" Their mom said her good bye before going out of their room. "You heard mom, Marina. Don't do anything funny! Dad may punish you again" Her sister, Niña said. Niña was the strict one among her sisters. She always remind her of almost everything...while, "Stop it Niña. She's just a kid. You know our sister, Marina! She is always playful and curious about things. Loosen up, sis!" Carolina says smiling then looks at me tenderly. Marina loves both of her sisters equally, but sometimes, Carolina pampers her like their mother. On the other hand, Niña is as strict as the king. Oh well, she better sleep now....
