"Well, it doesn't matter now. As you can see, they took away every ounce of dignity and honor from me. They left me with nothing, Kristoff. I'm just a mere servant now. Give up already and forget about me. I would only bring shame to your position."Kristoff grabbed my arms, pulled me towards him, and embraced me gently. "This is not how love works, my mate. How could you ask me to forget our love if you already own every ounce of me? Leaving you won't take me anywhere. I would rather stay here and continue to love you.”

Chapter 1
Brinax "So, how is it that you like it?" Ohema turned to face the mirror. When she saw the crown of braided hair perched atop her head, her expression brightened. She thought I did a great job on her hair. Yes, the sophisticated hairstyle gave her a royal, queenly appearance. She had a princess-like appearance. "It was fantastic! Indeed, the Queen of hairstyling!" Ohema let out a cry. She gave me a hug to express how much she appreciated me. Afterward, she said, "I bet the Jarl of Ironflame Pack would find it difficult to resist me with this haircut." "I am sure he would," I said, adding a pink blush on her cheeks to complete her appearance. "Sis, you are truly the greatest! I appreciate you doing this for me. I grinned broadly at her compliments. Despite having only heard rumours of the Ironflame Pack's crown alpha, Jarl Kristoft, my younger half-sister Ohema developed a major crush on him. Shadowmoon was a vassal pack of Ironflame, the biggest and most dominant pack on the Northern continent. The tales of the crown alpha described her as having a figure that would make the Lycan gods green with jealousy, long, jet-black hair, deep hazel eyes, and a sun-tanned skin. He was well known for being a formidable fighter who, at the cliff of shadows, defeated an army of outlaws by himself. The moonwolf, also known as Alpha Ragnar, was an equally formidable Alpha father, and the crown alpha was an impressive heir to him. It makes sense why young teenage wolves like Ohema found him appealing. I was an exception, though. My preference was to be with the mate that the moon goddess had selected for me, and I had no interest in chasing a wolf that was probably already pregnant. This rendered me, Sabrina Lynn Rosenberg, impervious to the char of the crown alpha. "Hey there! Do you even have a microphone?" In an attempt to catch my attention, Ohema waved her hand in front of my face. I had been zoning out in front of her without even realising it. "I apologise. What was it you said?" I answered in a sorry manner. "Do you think Jarl Kristoff would see me, I asked? After all, I seem quite insignificant in compBrinason to those she-wolves in his pack. Is there any chance he would even notice me?" Ohema had a defeated expression. Observing her oval-shaped face embellished with a pointed nose, Tong, and pinkish lips, Ohema was stunning. But the big birthmark on the side of her face had always made her feel uneasy. I patted her shoulders and replied, "Well, I do not see any other reason for him not to." Ohema, you are stunning. The Jarl would definitely notice it. Everything will work out if you just act natural and true to yourself in front of him." Ohema had spent a long time anticipating this day. The strong Alpha would frequently visit our pack because our Alpha Dad was excellent friends with the moonwolf, but today would be the first time he would be bringing Jarl Kristoff along. He had even made a joke with Dad about how he hoped one of us would marry his son so they could be closer. Over the years, Ohema's obsession with Jarl Kristoff grew stronger as a result of her efforts to grant the moonwolf's requests despite my lack of interest in him. As I ran the makeup brush over her face one more time, I murmured, "There, all set." "Many thanks, Brina! Ohema said, "You are the best," and she rose from the chair. "Crown Alpha and his retinue will arrive shortly. Do you really think that meeting your prospective brother-in-law will not be enjoyable? I rolled my eyes teasingly at her taunt. I sneered, "Thanks but no thanks." "You realise that a half-rank wolf like me would only make the family laugh, Brina!" Ohema objected. "Avoid saying that! We both possess alpha blood, and you are my sister. Please make sure you never again look down on yourself. "All right! I raised both of my hands in submission and said, "I will keep my mouth shut." Ohema grinned her prettiest smile and her shoulders relaxed, then she disappeared through the door. She said, "I will see you later, sis," and I waved back. I was thinking about my existence as a half-rank wolf when I was by myself in my chamber. Our society viewed us as an abomination, neither wholly high-ranked nor totally low-ranked, because we had an alpha father and an omega mother. The slaves would treat us the same because we were superior to them despite shBrinang blood, but the high wolves would hate us for mixing our blood with theirs. We seemed to be out of place in this world. However, I was quite fortunate in my situation. My dad showed the same affection to Ohema and me. And even though my stepmother Gwen would act as like I did not exist, my father and sister would always stand by to protect me from her. Even with all of this, I still thought of myself as the world's luckiest half-rank she-wolf. Time flew by. When boredom struck, I chose to visit my garden, which is a precious place to me. If you could not see me in my room, you could always find me there as it was my favourite spot to hang out. I looked at the clock on the wall. It stated that it was a quarter to two in the afternoon. I did not want to show up and disrupt the meeting later. My dad would undoubtedly dispute with Gwen if he knew that she would not permit me to join. For Ohema's sake, I did not want the crown alpha to think poorly of our family. I went to the back door after leaving my room. When I stealthily went outside, I saw the entire packhouse in disarray, as they laboured to get everything ready for the meeting so that the moonwolf and his successor would be pleased. After a short distance, I arrived at my preferred location—a verdant space beneath an ancient oak tree. I could still see the midday sun through the shade the dense leaves provided. The sun has always been my favourite! My favourite season was the summer. As the warm sunlight touched my skin, I felt warm. The most exquisite flowers appeared in the spring, but summer made me feel free. freedom I would undoubtedly experience after meeting my màte. I chose to lie down on the grass and close my eyes because I was still dreaming.
