Chapter Thirteen Winds of Change Another summer solstice, another birthday came and went, and it was summer again, the warm days of mid July. I got to work one morning after a night alone in the attic, and found there’d been a fight at the plant. No one knew for a long time what the disturbance was about, but all the gossip suggested that whatever happened had been ugly.
