Chapter Three I stood with my nose pressed to the wall for three hours. I didn’t dare move. I had no idea what tricks she might have up her sleeve but I was sure that she would have some way of finding out if my nose came off that spot. After an hour my arms and legs were dead tired and by the time she finally rang I was trembling uncontrollably.
