After leaving Desire, I head over to my parents house. I'm sure my mum will be in ninth heaven when I give her the news. I horn upon arrival and the gateman opens the gate, I drive into the garage and park my car.
"Mum, Mum." I call out as I enter the house.
"Maami." I call out again and she finally answers from the kitchen.
"Mum, I've missed you." I hug her and lift her in the air, she chuckles and hits my shoulders. I drop her and prostrate as greeting.
"You've missed me indeed. You've missed me yet you haven't come see me since. Is that a good thing?" she says in Yoruba dialect.
"I'm sorry mum, I've just been busy with work." I say.
"Mum, I've good news for you, your son has fallen in love. I'm in love with someone." I say and she laughs.
"Ehn ehn! Who's the lucky girl?"
