It has taken a lot of time to get Melody to agree with me that she is ready to meet my parents who have refused to go back to the castle. After two hours of sleep, my mate tells me that she is feeling better which makes me and my wolf calm because we can detect that she is not lying.
So I mind link Dad and Mom saying that they can come inside. It doesn't take long for them to walk inside with worry written all over their faces. But upon seeing them, Melody holds her hands out to them like a child who only wants their parents for comfort. I let them sit on her side and I myself stand beside the bed.
