Have I ever been self-conscious before? Yes, a lot of time but today is completely different. Have I ever wondered how I look through someone else's eyes? No, never but today the feeling of my mate's eyes on me has me thinking if I have gotten dressed properly or not.
Dominic has been staring at me so openly from the moment he has entered the hall with his personal guard whom I have met earlier. Now, I know why my wolf was so annoyed earlier, she didn't like the scent of our mate on someone else.
He looks like a statue, his face void of any emotions or surprise. I don't see any recognition or restlessness in his eyes. Why is he behaving so differently than other times?
