"Let me help you." The head warrior whose name I have learned as Scarlet says.
I don't know why but I am getting a bad vibe from this girl. She seems too sweet and gentle to be true. Also, I have noticed how she looks at my mate as if she wants to devour him.
"Thank you." I mumble as she brings a bowl of very hot soup before me to place it on the table but it's not placed on the table. Instead, she drops it on my lap and the hot content poured on my dress, seeping through it which burns my skin.
I try not to scream at the pain but it isn't successful as all heads turn toward me in concern. I try to fight back the tears as my hands are fisted by my sides.
