Shohag's divorce letter removed a stone stuck in Shohag's chest.He had been living a lonely life in Chittagong for many years.His life was almost semi spiritual.He slept only for three hours and offered prayer till Fazr and again slept two hours in the morning and then went to office.. Since Sonia left country Shohag became accustomed to this life style.The divorced letter fostered a rays of hope in Shohag's mind.As he had a marital life.He had hoped to marry again.He had fascination for family life.During the period of isolation he learned social and religious values.Since Sonia was a working woman, Shohag developed a distaste towards working woman.He preferred pious and homeworker.Particularly woman who lives under strict religious bindings.The woman who are free from religious fanaticism and superstition.As the casted a shadow on his life, he was looking for a woman from the same region.If a woman from same region she shares a same value system, similar beliefs, principles and moral framework.These values guide their decisions and behaviours.After moving from Dhaka, Shohag realised that people can not live their life the way they want.He must think of an invisible thread that controls him.This thread is his destiny.When Shohag married Sonia,he gave priority to his own choice.His family members supported and agreed to his decision.But this time also he had to act alone.From selecting a bride and marrying her.He was introduced with a matchmaker.This matchmaker were collecting information about women.Shohag let him knew his preference.So far Shohag invited two women to a restaurant and talked to them but he was not satisfied with them.One of the drawback of Shohag was he had a daughter who had been staying with his elderly ex-wife who was a expatriate then.But morally he was weakened by this fact and he didn't want to marry an unmarried girl.He told the matchmaker to look for either widow or divorced woman.Shohag was not getting impatient as the matchmaker was taking time to find out a proper woman for him.He was going to office and he noticed that his hallucination had reduced to significant extent.Finally his matchmaker took him to a house two kilometres away from his residence.Finally a woman appeared before him.Her name was Roksana.She was eldest daughter of his family.She had three brothers.One appewared at HSC, other two brothers were school going.She had other two younger sisters.She has lost her father few years ago.Now her mother was the prime. guardian.As she was a widow,her brother was given the task to make a query.One of Shohag's sister was at a local private college . When she was asked by Roksana's uncle, Shohag's sister gave a good impression about Shohag.Roksana's immediate younger brother visited Shohag's village home.Shohag also gave silent acceptance about Roksana.So both parties fixed a date for Nikah at a mosque near chawkbazar.Shohag's nearest relatives attended the occasion and final wedding ceremony was to be held one month later.Besides relatives Shohag also invited his official colleagues and friends to the wedding ceremony.It took place at a community centre near Roksana's residence.After wedding Shohag brought Roksana to his Chawkbazar house.Now there were four persons, Shohag, Roksana and Shohag's parents.From this house Shohag continued his office.But after few months Shohag's parents left Chittagong for Dhaka leaving Roksana and Shohag alone.Roksana was completely lonely when Shohag was at office.To give her company Roksana asked her younger brother to stay with them.Fortunately he agreed to stay with Shohag and Roksana. Life was going on smoothly despite the absence of Shohag's parents who were staying at Shohag's sister house in Dhaka.They were having a better time.Roksana's younger brother was learning typing at a nearby market.Meanwhile Roksana told Shohag she was pregnant.Shohag immediately took her to a female doctor.She was advised routine check up.When the delivery date was due she was admitted to Red- Cresent hospital.The authority alloted her a cabin.As the position of the baby was not conducive for normal delivery the doctor decided to go for a cesarian operation.Both Shohag's mother in law and her younger brother had to attend hospital day and night.Without their help it was not possible for Shohag to take care Roksana.On 10th, October doctor operated and a baby girl was born.Later baby girl was named as Afsana . When she was released from the hospital they came back home.Fortunately Rahim's mother was with them.She cooked and Roksana took care of new born baby Afsana.Later Shohag's parents came back from Dhaka and Shohag's father was very glad to have a baby.Shohag was still a smoker.Shohag's father humbly told Shohag if anything happen to you what would be the future of your girl.Shohag listened silently but he didn't reply his father.He tried several times to get rid of smoking.He adopted every ways to give up smoking but unfortunately he couldn't give up this bad habits.He had been a chain smoker from University years.
