As soon as Lucas's nurse stated he wasn't feeling fine, it felt like all the anger buried deep inside of me vanished immediately. My eyes widened in shock and I ran after Mia.
We arrived at the pack clinic and a nurse led us to the room where Lucas was, the doctor was attending to him and my heart was busy beating fast. I have never felt such intense fear like I did when I watched Lucas being attended to.
He was everything to me and my only heir, anything happening to him right now would definitely mess us up, my throat got constricted, and it felt like I was unable to breathe while I impatiently waited for the doctor to finish what he was doing and tell us what is wrong with him.
