Mia didn't hesitate to hand her baby to me. My lips curved with a dark smile. My intentions weren't good but I concealed those in my feigned smile.
I looked into her eyes and I looked at the baby she entrusted in my hand. My eyes blinked involuntarily while my mouth opened to speak. “You do not have to worry. I will take care of him.” Those words were filled with deceit and lies. Hidden intentions waiting to be uncovered were underneath.
