Mia's POV
My eyes widened with surprise. I was shocked when I felt his lip on mine. I didn't see that coming. My heart leaped with joy.
I wondered if he was doing it out of pity or if he had fallen for me. It felt like a dream but I knew it was my reality.
I closed my eyes to enjoy the moment even if it was the last that I would with him.
A loud noise came crawling into our ear. That distracted Lorenzo and he stopped kissing me immediately. He turned his head to check who was there.
I was discontent with the noise. It would have been a nice moment if there wasn't anything that broke it.
“Who is there?” I heard the voice of the Alpha.
“Physician.” His response was sharp and short.
Lorenzo opened the door for him to walk in. As soon as he walked in, he bowed his head slightly.
