Mia’s POV
My heart swelled as I saw the guard helping Sophia with her bags to the trunk. It was like a nightmare seeing her leave. I wanted her to stay. She had made me feel so comfortable with all this time she had been here, but she is so adamant about leaving.
“Are you sure you don’t want to stay longer?” I asked and she held my hand.
“I am going to miss you too and don’t worry, I will come and check on you often” she replied, and I let out a long breath.
I was hardly controlling myself from not bursting into tears, I really want her to stay with me, I love having her around and her kids too, are wonderful. She noticed the tears lingering in my eyes, and she became teary too. She pulled me into a hug and I hugged her backside.
