“Were you able to find out who had poisoned me?” Mia asked, and I held her hand as we sat down on the bed.
“Yes, one of the maids in the kitchen, she was killed. I was scared you were never going to wake up” I said and Mia rested her head on my chest.
“I have to be very careful, I can’t let anyone hurt me and our child” Mia muttered, and I cupped her face.
“I am not going to let anything happen to you and our child. I promise you that I am going to take care of you with everything that I own” I said and Sophia smiled faintly.
