After the departure of the witch, I found myself contemplating her whereabouts and the reasons behind the goddess's protection towards her. Could she possibly be a divine being in need of the goddess's safeguard? If that were the case, I would fiercely strive to claim her for myself, using every means at my disposal.
“I think we require a stronger witch to break the barrier protecting her,” I said, and beta Raymond tilted his head to look at me.
