“Have you heard anything about Mia?” I suddenly heard Sarah asking, and I dropped the knife I was holding on the kitchen counter. I was trying to prepare dinner for us.
“No, I am sure she is fine at Alpha Lorenzo’s pack house” I replied, even though I wasn’t sure she was fine, I didn’t trust Alpha Lorenzo, but I couldn’t help to let him have Mia when he wanted to buy her.
