“Please wait! Can you stop walking, let’s talk Mia” Sophia called after me and held my hand. I stopped walking, and my throat was sore, forcing myself not to burst into tears.
Every time I lay my eyes on him, I couldn’t help but think about the betrayal, everything I had to go through because of him and he doesn’t think a mere apology can bring us back to what we used to be.
“I don’t want to talk about it” I quickly stated before Sophia could say a word.
“We have to talk about it, Mia, I don’t want anything that is still going to hurt you. Alpha Lorenzo didn’t come with me because he trusted I was going to handle it, so please let’s talk,” Sophia said, and I finally let the tears fall, anger was coursing through me and I could hardly stop my lips from quivering.
